Beautiful park, many festivals held here. On other side of river there is a play area, tennis court, duck pond, and just a beautiful park. Festivals also on this side of park. And a parade down Main street! Also has Farmers Market on Tuesdays during late Spring and Summer.
And if you just want to have a quiet place to relax or even fish, this park is beautiful and relaxing any time of year!
When we were little we lived in California. When we would see the park with the canon we knew we were almost to grandma's and gramps house in florence.
While growing up this was a very relaxed beautiful park. Now days it seems to be over run with homeless people. A lot of them are caring and decent people, but you always have a couple bad apples in the bushel.
I have seen feces on the stage. Trash overflowing out of the trash cans and people doing illegal activities there. I would not recommend this park if you have young kids. AL least drive around it and check it out before you pull over to park!
Decent park for the most part. Seemed to be a few homeless individuals there, but they didn't bother us. We went there to let the dogs cool off and eat lunch.
Restrooms are always locked, camera by doors so they can watch you try the door like a fool! Its a nice park. They keep it clean as well. To bad about restrooms, some folks need them!
Very clean, have picnic tables and benches, access to trash 🗑️, bathroom access ♿.
Cute park that is a touch too small for the events they have there. Either that or they have too many vendors. The space in front of the stage ends up becoming a pedestrian walkway rather than a place to spread the blanket and watch the band.
Very nice park. Usually come to this park when they are having blossom festival.
Had a half hour to kill. Figured I would sit in the park and read. Instead I watched what appered to be a group of homeless people having a loud disagreement. After resolving who paid for the liquor they drank the liquor and enjoyed smoking.
Didn't end up reading my book.
Great 1.5 mile hike on the Royal Gorge Overlook Loop with just as good of views of the Royal Gorge as the park without the cost. The most scenic hike I've been on.
Beautiful year round. Nice trail, safe for walking, running, bike riding. Plenty of scenery to enjoy and maybe photograph. Informative plaques are great! They even provide specific sanitary bags to dispose of what your dog may have left behind. Easy
This is a comfortable park for our church potlucks because it has the large oversized Pavilion to get out of the sun or out of the rain. There is room to run around as well as a playground and other amenities. It has lots of parking and lots of grass
Lovely and well maintained park. Nice big playset, covered picnic tables, and lots of grass. Also three very well kept baseball diamonds and a full soccer field.
An eclectic gift shop, clothing store, and fun shopping experience located in the heart of Cañon City. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the events and happenings in the area, and we left with maps and suggestions for things to do on f
Coach Solana was awesome. Great instructor/coach, positive, she pushes you when you feel like giving up. The gym was big & clean, well organized. Equipment was super nice and like new condition and the CrossFit athletes that are regulars there whe

Definitely a blue black diamond trails in parts. Summer season itâs full of tourists who are enjoying the path as well. So just be mindful you wonât be able to send as much as you would like because you have to watch for p
I will start by saying I am very picky about my food and I leave reviews often. Rarely do I leave a 5***** review.
The food here is fresh, tasty and authentic.
The price is decent, around $20-$30 per person, but definitely worth it.
Oil field flats Red Canyon Park 4 mile creek sand Gulch shelf Road these all come to mind when you think north of canon city. You can even go all the way up shelf Road to cripple Creek Colorado hopefully youâre not afraid of heights they donât ca
So far so good. Camping at 1800hrs. and there is not a sound. Beautiful and serene. Had my dinner and watched the sunset. Camp spot #14 is a nice large area. Cannot see the other camp spots. High clearance 4WD is reccomended. The roads have a great a
The playground is located in Centennial park next to Royal gorge and has a variety of features for kids of all ages, including a walkway, pond, splash pad, sliding structures, and benches and picnic areas.
The walkway is perfect for a leisurely stro
