Beautiful little hidden gem of a park with benches, picnic tables, and a building with wraparound porch with rocking chairs to sit and admire the gorgeous scenery of Lake Erie.
Love this park, local Police are vigilant and it's well maintained.
A wonderful place to watch the sunset over Lake Erie.
There are boat launches and a cemetery featuring many names familiar even today as the roads and avenues are named after them.
As you might expect, there are often lots of families. It's right on the lake. Dress accordingly. 🌬
Small but beautiful park with modern facilities and conveniences. Great Lake getaway to spend a day with family and friends.
This spot was recommended to us by the owner of a local restaurant as I let him know we were taking our food and looking for a park to enjoy. The lake was angry and the waves hitting the shore and water spray provided amazing sounds and feels. They were setting up for a wedding or reception which looked like a cool spot for an event like that. There a number of picnic tables and benches throughout the park providing for options for how you want to enjoy the atmosphere. Looking for a quiet place to eat, walk, read, sun, or just take in the moment. This is the spot.
Veteran's Memorial Park in Avon Lake is the perfect place for a quick visit to the lakefront or a day at the beach! Areas available for picnics and open fields for frisbee, cornhole or a game of catch. Nice sandy beach to relax or explore.
Nice little park with lovely lake view. There is a nice little walkway that is accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, etc. with benches and picnic tables to relax and enjoy the peaceful lake views. There are steps leading down to the lake as well. Restrooms are clean too
At the end of route 83 this very nice park is very well-maintained. Has a nice boardwalk and plenty of seating a great place to take a nice Sunday or Saturday afternoon lunch

Restrooms are not open during winter months but this is a very cool pier on Lake Erie. Sunset or sunrise views can be breathtaking. The pier is also very cool in winter when there is ice covering the railings & benches. Be careful when walking!
The best of the best!! There's truly just no place like independence village. They have a beautiful community with excellent caregivers and their activities are incredible! Their food is delicious, the community is spacious and bright and the staff a
Being from Arizona, we love the food at Las Margaritas! It reminds us of home, minus the late night hours ð They are generous with the protein, unlike most food establishments. My tacos were LOADED with shrimp. I was also excited to see that they

I like going to Salad Kraze for their fresh salads and soups. I love the Garden of Eaton. Do get their soups - I love their French onion which is super low carb. They usually run out, so you may want to get the soups a little earlier. The big salad i
Not quite a "dive" bar, but it is a neighborhood hole in the wall. Food is good, as are their prices. And it seems they are always open regardless of weather or holidays. Mixed crowd, but everyone is always friendly and everyone feels welcome. Ju
