While really small and not a lot to look at the veterans memorial at the park is actually a really nice stop so I suggest coming by the fountain and taking a quick look
This is a very nicely designed memorial area. There's a lot of shade to give you relief from the hot summer sun; you can take a seat in the bench under the trees.
The signage and exhibits all look new and just very well-maintained. They have a light greenish hued wall where you can read the plaques of the names. Next to that is a green war tank. My favorite part of this memorial is the statue of the elderly person raising his hand in a salute to the plaques.

Wow what an amazing place. Come here when it’s cooler, and just take a long walk around the lake, or play at the kids park. Awesome place
The Veterans memorial, at fountain hills Park is very nice, being a veteran of the Vietnam war, I found it to be a place of quiet reflection. Well done.
The fountain park is exceptional. Once an hour it shoots water 300 ft in the air.

It's a great park in the center of Fountain Hills. A nice concrete walking path around the lake and has a large fountain. There are multiple washrooms with water stations, a playground, and a disc golf course.
