Went in ten minutes after opening to upgrade. Was willing to spend whatever needed. But … unable to see anybody without at least a 30 minute wait. Really tired of their staffing problems. No appointments available today.
This is typical. They are always busy with long waits.
Their BI coverage isn’t great so maybe time to switch providers.
What a bunch of jerks at this Verizon store. There were 7 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing and refused to help me transfer a new phone unless I paid them $30 additional. This is standard Verizon policy, there needs to be a major change. I finally left the store totally frustrated and did not get the transfer completed. What a pathetic company, this is how you chase away customers.
Waited 25 mints for a salesperson. She arrived with no intro or greeting. Next 10 mints was details of the S23 I wanted.
She disappeared for 10 mints only to return and present me a proposal.
"We have no s23 or 24s."
45 wasted mints.
PS. She admitted the ad on the S24 sample phone quoted untruths. Unbelievable!
Got home called Verizon Waimea. The first thing the salesperson says is, thank you for ur loyalty to V for 25 yrs!
I have an appoint. tomorrow to buy one of several S23 or 24's in stock.
I don't really leave reviews anywhere, but Shiloh was very thorough and very helpful. We came in just for the ultra watches and I had lot of questions and he answered them all! And with all the new perks of bundling our Netflix subscriptions we had no idea we could save through Verizon. His coworkers were also friendly. We've never had this great service on Oahu so far. Thank you!
Have had multiple issues with representatives in store in terms of transparency and what seems to me, from what I understand to be a sales move that benefits them more than the consumer. Fortunately, the customer service representatives help fix things after the fact but that has taken multiple calls with various service representatives, but that is an inconvenience to the customer and also the multiple drives over to their store to attempt to fix the issue through them directly, only to have my trust let down multiple times and no real fixes or working with me and being surprised at my bill every time.
This last time I trusted them again, my activation fee was lifted but that took a second drive in store after it was promised but not included on the bill, then my bill was as originally told… until, the 30-day cancellation period past and my bill jumped up and I had to call the customer service representatives to fix the plan and billing for me.
The service representative literally cussed and said, “what the hell?!” When he first pulled up the bill. He was super understanding, listened fully and explained everything well and he also worked it out so I would be credited back money and so that my bill would change to what I was told it would be.
He also advised no longer going to this store for assistance and mentioned what they did seemed to be a strange way to handle my situation and like a “sales move”.
This is a clean store. The staff are nice. Prepaid deals are very fair.

She made our visit complete by not only smoothly outfitting my daughter with a new phone (we were on first day of vacation and her phone died), but giving us very valuable and informative local tourist information. Joanne is super customer oriented, very capable, extremely efficient, and ultra-personable. We wish you many blessings Joanne as you continue on your career path!! (eventually leaving the air conditioning...) You are genuine and real. You will always be successful no matter what you do in life.
