Verde - Fine dining restaurant in Bettendorf - 1507 State St, USA

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but just now getting around to it now. There are 3 restaurants that we frequent in the QC, and Verde is one of them. This is for several reasons. 1) the food is incredible. I would pit it against any big city place. 2) they are unbelievably accommodating. Like above and beyond. For starters, as Muslims, we don't eat pork products. We never have any expectation of anyone to bend over backwards for us to accommodate us, but that's exactly what the folks at Verde do for us. They have done everything from making a separate, special pork free mole sauce for us to sourcing halal certified meat so we could eat whatever we wanted. One time, Chef Connor even called my wife to ask her what protein she would want for a tasting menu because we don't eat pork. We were floored. They are also very kid friendly. For a tasting menu, they just let us pick which items we wanted for our 2 year old. She loved it. 3) this goes along with 2, but the people are wonderful. Everyone from wait staff to hosts/hostesses to the chef of course. Can't say enough good things about them. All in all, this place is an absolute gem and we will continue to go there as much as we can. Thanks for everything!

All we could say was wow!! One of the best restaurants we've been to! Very casual atmosphere but the food is AMAZING and not as expensive as it should be. Will absolutely go back! Everything we ordered was amazing, and the cauliflower dish was the standout! Oh and the entire kitchen is gluten and soy free!! They took my allergy mention very seriously. Couldn't say enough good things about our experience.

A breathe of fresh air to enjoy a fine dining experience in the Quad Cities in a new location. Nice ambiance, great staff, creative menu, great sauces, nice wine & cocktails list, delicious food. We have already tried this restaurant twice this month and look forward to coming again soon.

This was an amazing restaurant. I have traveled Mexico and had some authentic excellent Mexican food this is at the top of my list of wonderful food. I was in Davenport on business and thought I would give it a try and so glad that I did. So so good!

Received a gift card for Christmas! OMG this place was phenomenal! The food and service was off-the charts good!! Will be going back without a doubt. The menu is small but definitely carries a punch. The chef changes the menu every so often. I recommend making reservations also!

Had another incredible dinner at Verde. My wife and I had our second dinner here a couple weeks ago and were just reminiscing about how wonderful the food was and decided we had to leave a review. We shared the cauliflower and beans & rice starters, I had the pork shoulder, and she had the bison short ribs. The beans & cauliflower starters were both fantastic and my pork shoulder was the best pork I think I’ve ever eaten, seasoned & cooked perfectly. The short ribs were also incredible, but I only got a small bite since my wife was enjoying them too much to let me have more than that. 😀 We’ll definitely be back for more!

The service was top notch! Food was delicious. I only have one suggestion. They “measure” out the wine in a shot glass at the bar. One, two, and a half….. It just seemed kind of tacky. I would suggest using a mini carafe, which I saw they had as well. It just takes away from the experience and atmosphere when they are meticulously measuring in front of you. Otherwise, 5 star experience!!!

I adore the luxury feel of Verde. The authentic flavors with the twists are appreciated and make for a unique and memorable dining experience.
