Ventura Beach House Motel - Featured Reviews (121)
Immaculate, exceptionally clean room with coffee maker. Beautiful Indie music playing outdoors during the day, when I walked the grounds, helped created a peaceful, memorable stay. The staff, managers, and owners were warm, helpful, and friendly. I had a great time.
Perhaps because I am a single man with a dog, I felt unwelcome. The proprietor couldn't have known that I had capsized my boat, which I lived on, about 10 miles from my day's destination, Ventura. I had spent several days at a horrendously overpriced Motel 6, and needed to find something more affordable. Hence, the Ventura Beach House Motel.
Work and painting was being done at some of the rooms, and the motel looked very presentable. Some reviewers complained about the rooms or the bedding, but they were both fine to me.
I'd love to see this family owned (I assume) establishment succeed, and I think that would be possible if it hired a hospitality professional for the front desk, at least from, say 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. A weary traveler should be welcomed with respect, not fear and suspicion.
Well, the hotel itself was nice enough and clean paint was fresh carpet was nice. Bathroom was well enough. The people at the front desk were very rude or hesitant to even rent a room to me me like I was a criminal and ultimately charged me extra because I had a friend over And there was no need to do so we were not allowed. No issues were needed to be addressed. These people are just disrespectful and don’t deserve your hard money
My husband and I chose this motel because of the price. It was summer time and all of the hotel and motel prices skyrocketed. The Ventura Beach house was the only place within our budget. I worried about cleanliness and quality of this location but we were pleasantly surprised! The owners were very friendly and the grounds were clean, freshly painted and very nice. The room was a bit outdated but very clean. In my opinion cleanliness and a comfortable bed is more important than modern and new. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend then Ventura Beach House motel!
Great seaside motel. Best value and exceptional cleanliness. Complete pride of ownership here. Very nice staff with quick check in quiet. No obvious permanent residents like the tragic run down motels next to the mall with all the drug activity. If your visiting Ventura you can actually bring your children to this motel and feel safe.
Fairly clean until you use the black light. Comfortable enough and quiet. Bad part was the urine smell from the heat/ac unit. Not good for romance. Price was way too much for a place like this, $50 would be more appropriate. We wouldn't stay here again.
Actually very nice rooms for a fair price staff is cool too
This place was GROSS and I don’t say that lightly I’m not trying to bash a family owned place but me and my fiancé got a room just for a night and they say you get what you pay understandably but this was dirty. There was blood spots on supposedly fresh pillow cases as well as suspicious stains and when I pulled back the bed to check the box spring there was little hairs under the bed. It was just gross. Not to mention that it was suppose to be a non smoking room and the ceiling had yellow smoke stain on it all over. !!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
I've had the pleasure of being part of an incredible gym experience, and I can't help but express my gratitude for the fantastic atmosphere it provides. The coaching team goes above and beyond in ensuring proper form and technique, making the whole j
Awesome customer service! Diego was great and set me up in the store with a mask/snorkel combo for my cousin who is moving to Hawaii. Worked within my budget to get two good products but didnât try to upsell me. Would recommend this place to anyone
