Venezia Restaurant - Northern Italian restaurant in Midland - 2101 W Wadley Ave #20, USA

I recently dined at Venezia Restaurant, and the atmosphere transported me to the charming countryside of Italy. The welcoming ambiance made the experience enjoyable. However, I found it puzzling that they served water in wine glasses. The food, showcased beautifully in pictures, was generally impressive. The avocado and lobster appetizer, paired with a creamy cheese soup, was a delightful start, though the lobster was slightly undercooked, making it a bit chewy. The spaghetti and meatballs were delicious, but I wished for more sauce and a slightly balanced ratio of spaghetti. Despite these minor critiques, the overall dining experience was really good. The attentive service, with the server keeping a watchful eye on us, added to the positive atmosphere.

This place is very elegant, and the inside's decor is stunning. There's a certain hue that surrounds you as soon as you walk in. The food was delicious. I ordered the burrata caprese as an appetizer, and it could have been all i ate that night since the portions are large. It was a wonderful experience. The only thing I would say could use some improvement is the staff. My cup was empty, and I only saw our waitress 3 times throughout the night.

Just wow. This place was breathtaking all around. From the atmosphere to the decor, the food and the service, everything was outstanding. Alfredo provided us a great experience. Thank you. Definitely will be back and a MUST TRY!

Very elegant!! My soon to be and I had an amazing experience! We even tried escargot for the first time!!! Couldn't have asked for anything more romantic than this spot.. Thank you Venezia... Gabriel

It might be my fault for getting steak at the pasta place. I was not prepared for bell peppers in my mashed potatoes. Great atmosphere but that is where the great stops. Our waitress was kind but very absent. $200 for meh food.

I super like the decor. Don’t like the service so much. Probably caught them on an understaffed night. The food is great. Enjoy 10/18/23 update…. LETS BUMP THIS TO 5 stars!!! Was incredible tonight!!!

Let's start with the good. The atmosphere of dining on the patio was wonderful. Old growth trees, lovely architecture, very charming. The young man in charge of filling water and bringing bread (who admitted he couldn't speak English) was the best member of the staff that tended to our table. He was attentive to all tables in the patio area and performed his job to perfection. The wait staff seems to be over worked. It seems that they are expected to work tables both inside and outside, and ultimately this means that the outdoor guests get much less attention. We waited 15 minutes for drinks, during which time we hadn't even been given the chance to order appetizer. My wife's fork had dried spinach, which.. we understand things happen. But when we mentioned it, the waitress brought new set of silverware.. but left the dirty fork on the table for the entire meal. The food itself was good, not great, but good. They are proud of their food though, the prices seem to be about 20-30% over what I'd expect that same quality food to be in the Dallas area. Overall, I'd definitely return, with hopes that this experience was not the norm.

Great Italian spot. Tried the fried calamari which was ok, the bruschetta was really good, chicken florentina was really good too, the desserts were fine - tiramisu, cookies and cream cake, and rum cake but the rum cake was the best one offered
