I love this place!! My wife and I have been here a number of times because we love the vibe and the atmosphere here, but most of all we love the food and drinks here too. The staff here are masters of the cocktail making craft and I have to say I’ve never once had a bad tasting cocktail and the consistency of the cocktail making process is flawless. I can’t recommend this place enough for the perfect evening experience with live music at times. If your a cheese and meats lover then get the board, you’ll love it!!
This place used to be a real gem. I would visit VTR about once a month, a few years ago. But post-pandemic (and new ownership?), it's simply not the same. The vibe is completely wrong. Now it feels like just a typical bar with overpriced drinks. Sad. 😔

Such an awesome experience! I have a favorite (very old-school) cocktail. Whenever I order it at various establishments, if there is ANY hesitation by the bartender I cancel the order because that tells me they either are not true mixologist or they don't have enough knowledge or experience yet. That's okay! At The Velvet Tango Room, I had no hesitation! I knew I was in the right establishment! I told the bartender what I liked. She made an excellent suggestion. Asked me the perfect questions to determine if I would like it. Then, it poured me an outstanding hand-crafted cocktail that was perfect! While I sat and slowly enjoyed it I overheard her gently quizzing another patron to determine what to suggest for him. I'm very impressed! The atmosphere is conducive to conversation and comfortable for those that might enter alone. There's a wonderful hidden (and private) gem of a space that is perfect to entertain your guests or colleagues. I can't wait to return again & again!
Found this place based on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The cocktails are some of the best we've ever had and John our bartender ensured they were top quality and that we were enjoying them! The charcuterie and cheese trio was really tasty as well. We were there during happy hour which saves $5 off your drinks. Before we left, we told John we wanted to try one of each of the dessert cocktails to share, so he expertly made them and split them for me and my husband. Truly couldn't have had a better experience! If you're looking for excellent craft cocktails you need to check this place out!

Is very good cocktail a little expensive but is a good cocktails.
Just walked in there tonight and was greeted by the bar tender literally yelling at our group, “we don’t have space for you- come back in 30 minutes!!” at the same time as a nice guy was trying to seat us at an open table. We promptly left and did not come back. Such a bizarre way to greet your patrons. The place did not seem that busy but even if it was, that is not how you welcome someone into your business.
