Velvet taco offers great food and fast service in a casual environment. I loved the unique offerings like the grilled salmon and spicy tikka chicken. While the environment is no frills it was fairly clean but it’s definitely a casual place. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

Service was super friendly and the food/drinks were great! They have a really cute atmosphere and lots of options to chose from. The artwork and overall aesthetic seems pretty cool and unique. Location is great and lots of things to do in the area.

Came here late on a Monday night. For a late night option this was delicious all tacos are soft shell just an fyi. Chips & queso 🫕 was delicious. Prices were reasonable, food was fresh. Overall great experience. There is even a kid’s menu for picky eaters.

Highly Recommend: all the tacos tasted great. The guac elote was also really good. Fast service and clean place.

Wasn't really sure of what to expect when we decided to dine-in. The resturant itself had very colorful art & was vibrant with a descent music selection for your listening pleasure. The food & pricing for that matter was a little underwhelming. We had the Elote Guac as an appetizer which was okay. I tried the Tikka Chicken Taco which is apparently a favorite, I really enjoyed the fact that the Curry wasn't over powering, it was a nice compliment to the taco. The Buffalo Chicken & Fish & Chips tacos weren't really anything different than you could get anywhere else. The Flank Steak Taco was by far the best of the bunch that we had. In all, I felt the food was a little over priced.

This was the best place that I had food in Chicago this weekend. So many tacos to choose from. I got 6 different tacos and each one was so good that I couldn't decide which one was my favorite. The service was also extremely quick. Less than 5 mins to get our food. 10/10

I'm kinda embarrassed it's taken me so long to recommend this awesome business! I love their unique approach to tacos and feel it's worth a visit. I just finished Djing last night and looked for a quick bite. The prices are a bit higher since pandemic and inflation; but the food remains impeccable! I had the rotisserie chicken #2 flank steak #11 & finally tried the Chicken and waffles #18 I also got their elote and cheese dip. Both were awesome! I also brought my wife home the chicken tikka #3 Bring an open mind, appetite, & good vibes. They'll take care of the rest. My favorite Tacos in the city that aren't your regular cilantro and onion variety. Also they're tacos of the week aren't to be missed either!! Kudos Velvet Taco.
