VARSOL SUSHI BAR - Japanese restaurant in Coconut Grove - 3423 Main Hwy, USA

Staying at Mr C (cool hotel 2 minutes walk), I passed the place and loving sushi I decided to check it out. It was nice find. Got seated at the bar with no wait time (solo traveller) and right away the staff welcomed me and took my order. The food took no time to arrive and was delicious. The staff keeps checking on me on regular basis to ensure I had everything I needed. I had there take on the traditional Moscow mule (which I recommend). Food wise, selection or raw and cooked Japanese food. Sashimi selection did not disappoint. Would go again!

This is our go to sushi restaurant, always on point!! Amazing food, always very fresh. They also have a great ambiance, service and drinks. Will not disappoint!

Nice fun sushi restaurant in the grove. Hostess was pleasant, service was good and food was delicious. The place is a bit pricey and has a very “Southbeachy” vive. Don’t expect to have any soft spoken intimate conversations, it’s very loud. Sake cocktails were also delicious. We had an eel hand roll, tuna tartare, soft shell crab, sashimi, and three rolls. Everything was great. My only complaint is the rice was a bit undercooked. Overall, it was a positive experience and I’d recommend this place.

I have been to over 100 restaurants in Miami and Varsol became one of my top #3 tonight. The love, passion and care that the owners have is really inspiring. The owners care so much about the quality of the food, the wellbeing of their team and the experience of the customer. I’m very thankful for having had the opportunity to presence this operation tonight and the food was magical. My favorite dishes were the Salmon Toro Nigiri, Tuna Tartare, Tara’s Tuna. Amazing drinks and desserts. Great service too. The sushi is pretty solid and the quality of the fish is top, but I would not put the sushi as the top recommend in Miami. Here is what we got that you must order if you come here: passion fruit Moscow mule, sashimi mori, liquor 43 spritz, passion fruit dessert. We also ordered the mermaid and the Dane #2 rolls, and the steamed shrimp shumai. We had a great evening, but we will be exploring other sushi places in the Miami area vs coming back.

Omg this Place is AMAZING. I loved the decor,the music and obviously the food was so good. Definitely I’ll visit it again soon.

I have tried other places in the area and none of them are as good as Varsol. They don't have the same sushi quality combined with a great experience and service. About the food options you can ask the servers for recommendations but I strongly suggest the Taras Tuna, Salmon Toro Sashimi (my favorite) and for the Specials go for the Savor a Mar and Puro Salmón Roll. You can't miss with these options, they are incredible, and if you still have space for desert try the "Passion Delight". You won't regret it, you will have to go back for sure to try more.  As for the service I have to say that starting from the reservation it went really professional and friendly. The host on the entrance of the restaurant was extremely kind! and was already waiting for us to walk is to our table.
