Van's Bar - Bar in Manitowoc - 426 N 9th St, USA

A fun bar near the heart of Manitowoc. All the appetizers I've tried are great, and when the popcorn machine is running, it's some of the tastiest I've had. The fish fry on Fridays is a must-try, and I highly recommend the bluegill basket!

I recently dropped by Van’s Bar, and let me tell you, it was one heck of an experience. The service was top-notch. The staff made sure my glass was never empty, and they were quick with recommendations. It was like they could read my mind. Now, let’s talk about the grub. The chicken wings, folks, are out of this world. Crispy, flavorful, and downright addictive. I couldn’t get enough of them. But it’s not just the wings; everything we ordered was spot-on. This place knows how to do good food, no doubt about it. The vibe at Van’s Bar is the real deal. It’s got that perfect blend of a laid-back hangout spot with a hint of excitement in the air. Whether you’re chilling with your buddies or looking for a cool spot to unwind, this place sets the mood just right. It’s the kind of joint you’d want to make your regular haunt. In a nutshell, Van’s Bar is the real deal. With top-tier service, mouthwatering food (those wings), and a killer atmosphere, it’s a spot that won’t disappoint. I’ll be coming back for more, no doubt about it.

This place was great! Very nice servers, even the cook that bought out my food was nice and polite! Everybody was having a good time, wish I could of stayed and had a drink! Everybody else's good looked amazing too! The service was quick too in and out in about 10 minutes...I had a Perch sandwich and onion rings...two big pieces of Perch, lettuce and tarter sauce, on a simply delicious bun. The perch was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly! The onion rings were good too! Next time I'm going to walk there so I can stay a while and enjoy this place!

Wow. The food is always on point. My go to if you were to ask. A true manitowoc county burger, etc. if you were to ask. Bartenders are great. Tyler is obviously my favorite. Just look at and experience him. But Jen too. Really, all of them have my heart. It’s clean, the music and clientele are poppin’ and versatile. 10/10 recommmend. Give Tyler a raise. Burgers, cheese curds, fries are all really good. Very limited number of tables, but very large wrap around bar with TVs. Darts, pool, poker/gambling machines inside.

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic owners/empoloyees, awesome food and drinks (plenty of different choices), very clean, family oriented, different special every day, also..... lots of Tv's to watch your favorite sports!!! Feel's like FAM!! I LOVE THIS BAR!!!! It's my kind of place....

Great atmosphere but they need bigger TVs to watch games. Hard staring at those little ones. Service can be great one day and absolutely mediocre the next. Food is great though and their pricing is reasonable.

Gets crowded on weekends but a good atmosphere for anyone. 3 dartboards,pool table, and plenty of gaming machines to choose from. Van's is in my top 3 taverns for bar food. Love this place
