Went for dinner at Fenwick Island Village and after found this cute creamery that had a line out the door. We figured, it must be good let’s try it!
The line moved fast and was worth the wait. The ice cream is so creamy. Great variety of flavors! Very reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly.
I had the maple walnut and mocha almond fudge with rainbow sprinkles. It was a 2 scoop cup which was more like 4 scoops. So much, I couldn’t finish it!

This ice cream remains top tier quality after many years and a lot of growth. That is unusual and something to be proud of. You can tell that the ingredients are quality. Their ice cream is creamier than it is sweet, which I prefer. My only feedback is that I am begging you to staff up your smaller locations, especially if you're going to offer milkshakes. The line in Fenwick tonight was just wild. I'm so glad you're popular and everyone has realized that Vanderwendes is elite, but this line was nuts and you only had three people working - meaning one person scooping, one on register and one making milkshakes. One more person would have made a huge difference. That being said, these girls were hustling and friendly. And the ice cream.was delicious, of course.
Had a two scoop in a waffle cone. Maple walnut and almond joy. It was more like 4-5 scoops! Creamy and delicious. Nice young ladies serving. Was well worth the line out the door!!
Took the family of 4 out for ice cream. 1 scoop on a waffle cone was a big helping. They made the waffle cone right in front of us. Each of us got a different flavor. Everyone was happy and ice cream was very delicious. I would definitely recommend you try them.
Duuuuuude. We had to wait for over a half-hour for ice cream, but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT! The portions are gigantic and the variety of flavors is immense. One scoop is really 2-3, two scoops is like 6. No disrespect to Dumser's but I prefer Vanderwndes!

Our first time trying this place. Yummy!!!! Yes… very yummmy homemade ice cream. I had the apple pie ice cream. Yes would definitely recommend this place! The employees were super friendly as well. Support local/small business.

Great ice cream! Absolutely assume of the best I have ever had! Very clean place with friendly staff. The peanut butter fudge crunch was so good i got an extra pint to go! It is a bit hard to get to the place since you have to park in the shared parking but well worth it!
