Vandergriff Park - Park in Hixson - 1414 Gadd Rd, USA

This is the playground of my childhood. They do an amazing job with the upkeep on this place. Was honestly one of my favorite places to go as a kid. They have a walking track for the adults to use while the kids are playing, a large pavilion, and plenty of places to sit. Doesn't cost anything to park and enjoy.

I think Vandergriff Park is an incredible place for kids to play. There is a great selection of playground equipment that varies in age range. It’s all separated in a way that allows kids to run around without being on top of each other. My only problem (and my biggest problem) is that everything is rusty and sharp. A lot of the rubber coating is peeling off and exposing flaking, rusty, sharp(at parts) metal. This would be a 5 star playground if they would update the rubber coating. That being said, I do still take my daughter here because she loves it. I just pray for the best.

This is an excellent park for individuals as well as family. They have an excellent track, which many people use for daily exercise. I have personally used this track , and it definitely worked to my advantage. They have a nice reservation facility, which is first come , first serve. People have parties , reunions, class, camps, birthdays, and families get togethers. The recreational equipment is safe for children of all ages. The parking lot does get full, and people park across the street. Please if this is you guys be careful. The cars keep it moving 🚗. Got it ? The area is surrounded by houses, a recreation center is across from the park. You guys will enjoy the luxury of nice restaurants in the area. If you are planning something get there early to reserve your spot.This is one of several parks in our 🏙️🌆 no reservations required. I want to encourage family, and friends to utilize our park 🏞️. This is great for running, walking, and skating. No need to ever go running or walking on the roadways. It's way too dangerous. Our Scenic City is the most visited Tourist Attraction in the World'. It's because of this park , and several like it throughout our city. I love 💕 Chatt. Town. Mr. C.

Took our Grandson to Vandergriff yesterday's. I forget how nice it is and how many different things they have for him to do. Very nice for us to have in Hixson. Come out and bring your little ones so they can enjoy it. Plenty of places to rest and enjoy a picnic.

Multiple playgrounds fire multiple ages, lots of swings, walking path, multiple seating areas and trash containers, functional and clean bathrooms. About as good as a playground park gets.

You can't ask for a better playground! The first section is for bigger kids, the second section is for very young children and the third section is handicap accessible. There's an area covered with picnic tables, a track to walk and clean bathrooms.

Very nice public park. Great place for young children to play. Good parental supervision and interaction. Only 2 swings for little ones . Would be nice to have more. Loved the shredded tires under the playground equipment, cushy and soft.

Used to take my oldest daughter here 12 years ago when it was little brown pebbles. They just upgraded to a new material underfoot. Clean. Great place for birthday parties. Play areas for multiple age groups.
