This was my first time walking across the Vancouver Land Bridge. I found it to be quite interesting, to say the least!
The Vancouver Land Bridge connects the Columbia River Waterfront to the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The native history along the bridge is not only beautiful, but it is also fascinating. It is part of the Confluence Project.
I wish I had taken more photos/videos, but there is next time. I will be more prepared to do so, especially knowing what I do now.
Do come check out this rich piece of art and history! The architecture and design of this bridge are just stunning, making it a must-see!
Very Historical, unique, beautiful, interesting and inspiring Bridge. You can see freeway, train trails, small airplanes and a lot of cars. People love to walk and jog this Bridge. So many rest places. You can sit and rest. Even rainy day if you wear the rain jacket you can walk and jog.
Sunshine day is perfect for me. I feel like meditation myself.
The bridge as well as the whole walking path leading up to said bridge is quite beautiful. There is a lot you can see from the bridge such as trains, the freeway, and a huge plane runway !!
Where nature, history, and place are the medium, this art you can walk through will fill up your senses. The sounds of city life, highways and trains, juxtaposed with native plant life and gentle curves mixed with historic stories of a long-lost city before colonization, field and fort, and modern city industry provide much to reflect on. In short, take this walk.
This is a great place for a short walk and a chance to wander around a few historic places. The climb over the freeway is a slow and steady grade so it should be good for a variety of people.
Last winter we walked from the Fort side across, turned around just before the end. Plants were leafless, you could see quite a bit of the area.
Late August, we walked from the river side up and over. It was very hot, little shade, and hard to see much. It's a lovely walk, but would prolly be more fun on a scooter or bike.
Beautiful walk connecting the Fort Vancouver Historical Site to the Vancouver Columbia Waterfront. Great place to chill, enjoy the view, and go on a walk.
Connecting Historic Fort Vancouver to the Vancouver Waterfront Trail, this pedestrian only throughway appears to unite several distinct moments in time. Early post-colonial America on the one side, modern industry travelling under it, and budding Pacific Northwest commerce on the other side. The elevation is gradual and the walk is easy, with historical tidbits peppered along the way.
This park is part of the Waterfront Renaissance Trail, so you know it's awesome!! It is also a photographers dream at sunset!
It offers scenic views of the Columbia River, Mt. Hood, the city of Vancouver, the I-5 Bridge, and sooo much more! You real
The Grant Street Pier is absolutely beautiful! This Pier is definitely the focal point of Vancouver Waterfront Park. It was designed by nationally renowned artist Larry Kirkland. This awesome architectural project won the Engineering Excellence prize
Nice trail that goes along the river and has access to a few small, and beaches along the Columbia River. There are great views of the river and the bridge. There are also restaurants at either end of the trail. It's beautiful in the spring and summ

Being a neighborhood park, this place is small, as you should expect, but it is beautiful and well maintained.
I had a wonderful little stroll through here today. It is safe and clean, and was not crowded at all when I was here. The play structure f
Beautiful, beautiful little (big?) neighborhood park! Lovely little unpaved paths meandering through the brush and trees, a paved loop, grassy areas, and playground. Surrounded by backyards on all sides so there's no traffic driving by to worry about
Buck volunteers every morning and sometimes the evenings to keep Dogwood Park clean. He has been doing this for a VERY long time. Each day, I notice trash or candy or beer cans that have been left overnight, and I try to help him out by picking up wh
Met a friend for a party date with our sons. City play was clean, well kept and the areas weren't run down. They either keep up with the wear and tear from toddlers and young children or it's because the business is brand new. But Im hoping the forme

I just ordered the three falafel patties as a snack, but I'll be back soon for more because damn those were amazing! They smelled soooo good before I even took them out. Also they're larger than the falafel patties at most other places I've been to.
My favorite hang out spot in downtown, and Iâm not even a huge tea person! The staff are always very kind and clearly very knowledgeable about their craft. Their drink offering is exclusively tea, but itâs very well made, high quality tea both ic
