Nice clean rooms, easily accessible, food & convenient store within walking distance, friendly/nice owners, rooms have great prices

This is a no fuss no frills hotel. It is what it is, a hotel on edge of town on I-20. If your looking for a quick bite to eat, a shower & a bed then this will do when you are out of drive time. The guy at the front desk encourages reviews. You get what you pay for as it was $69. We had non smoking, double beds we would have preferred single bed non smoking. It is right next to old school dairy queen. I would say it's quiet but walls are paper thin so that depends on your neighbors. You hear their conversations, arguements, snoring & tv no problem. Cleanliness could certainly use some care, concern our room was extremely dirty floors, walls, counter tops, tub & sink like the only care was to the bedding, however, there were no live bugs. I'm not trying to be mean but I think the nice manager at the front desk is in over his head. I would suggest they hire someone to come in and do a deep cleaning on the rooms & repaint then replace furniture & bedding. When I say hire someone I do not mean friend or family. I mean professional this should be done periodically like maintenance. I'm not talking about housekeeping or someone to change trash, strip & make beds. I mean deep scrub walls, base boards, doorframes, doors, floors, bathrooms, electrical outlets & light switches. The manager cares deeply about this place, he is proud to show off the painting in the front office. These rooms should show how deeply he cares and currently they do not.

Adequate rooms and terrific location just off the I-20. BUT the weirdest hotel experience ever. The place was completely empty. Not another guest—it was just creepy. Not sure why — remodel? Slow travel period? Just really strange.

The owners are super friendly, beds are comfy, rooms are spacious enough to easily walk around and be comfortable, has a fridge, microwave, and there is even a table to eat at or use for work.

I travel from Alabama to Dallas Texas twice a month and I stay here each time they have clean rooms very nice people they make me feel right at home each time I stay here they have reasonable rates if you're looking for a good night's rest this is the place they also have truck parking

We stayed here a few days due to hurricane evacuation. The rooms are decent but definitely not clean. They do have decent areas for dog to use the restroom. No room service in 4 days, no hand soap, shampoo etc offered. They will knock on the door and offer towels. Wifi sucks. Convenient access to food etc from location. Would i stay here again...ehhh...if I had to i would.

This was the worst place I've ever stayed at. It wasn't my choice and I would've never chosen this place. It was filthy! The chairs in the room were so stained that I didn't want to sit on them. The baseboards were filthy and never cleaned before. The light switches and everything in the room was filthy. The pillows were so flat that my neck and back are still in pain days later. I would never recommend this filthy roach motel to anyone.

I had no issues! Room was clean, area was quiet, and they offered extra towels for my children since 2 towels are in the room but we had 3 people. Very nice gentleman at the desk 😊 Thank you for making our stay worth it!
