I come here often and let me give you the breakdown… Pros: 1) staff is friendly and understanding 2) there is a large verity in what they have and u will most likely find what u need 3) there r mirrors around the store so u can see how something looks on u 4) if u donate then u get a card with a bunch of discounts that work immediately- I saved almost 10 dollars from it 5) it is very organized 6) they have the best selection of items I. The area Cons: 1) there r a lot of stained clothing items that are marked for a high price - but was looking at a pair of branded jeans that had a period stain on them for 23.99 which is a good price for a branded item but u usually wouldn’t wash jeans because of shape and sizing 2) there r no dressing rooms and there is a strict policy on not using the bathrooms to change- however if u can slip the clothing piece on quickly then u will be able to check itself in the mirrors Overall it’s a pretty average thrift store… Edit: I went back for some more thrifting and upped my review by one star because the staff was so kind about finding every possible way to get a charger for my android because it ran out of charge. The staff was also super nice, and you can find some steals there that were amazing! There are also 30% off on Tuesday for seniors which came in really handy when shopping with my mom who qualified as a senior.
Absolutely TOP NOTCH! Even had to call the manager (Marie) to the floor to personally tell her (that's her and I in the pic - she's Awesome!). Ok, here's the deal, clean (very clean) store, Extremely customer-focused staff AND they work well with each other, easy checkout and loads of stuff in an ORGANIZED store. I was only in town for a bit but - if I get a chance later - "I'll Be BACK" //Vic
Unfortunately, I was racially profiled here 2 days ago. So this is my call for them to do better. I arrived shortly before opening along with a few other cars, looking for some lightly used office furniture. They had a black filing cabinet and coffee table for a great price, outside the front if the store with the other major furniture. There was a rep helping someone else, with sold stickers so I politely asked to be serviced as well. She was initially kind and and I proactively picked out my two peices. I decided to quickly browse the houseware section at the FRONT,Left of the store for any additional knickknacks or statement peices. I was inside the store for a total of 3 minutes. After not seeing anything, I locate the rep and paid for my items and leave. Looking for assistance to bring the furniture to the curb. As I’m waiting with my car, and chatting with one of the male workers. The lady comes running out “let me see that purse, you got that purse from this store” Excuse me ?!?!? this bright tan, $450 Coach Pillow tabby, that was on my arms and full of my items. My car doors wide open you can see its empty in here? The same store where I didn’t even glance, nor walk towards any clothing? Or accessories? I didn’t even go to that side of the store. You watched pay for my things and take the card out of my bag at the counter. My only thought was a coworker had to put her up to this, but I was livid and embarrassed. The guy who was helping load the furniture, was so apologetic as I started to tear up. I know your town probably doesn’t get many black faces, but do better. And to the rep who questioned me, even though she helped me the entire time and knew my demeanor, shame on you. So whatever, two stars because I found the furniture I needed at a great price and for that gentleman who was kind and had a soul. Stop being disgusting Washington !
This place is completely full of all kinds of hidden treasures and all around good deals on lightly used merchandise. There is a constant supply of fresh donations to go through and search for all kinds of stuff you had no idea you even needed.
Great selection of items but some fairly outlandish prices on many of the things. Saw an item on a stock cart and picked it up to look at it, woman rather aggressively told me I couldn’t look at it, it’s for the showcase and she could get in trouble. Why is it on the cart then…? Weird store practices, I’ve never had anything like that happen at a Savers or Value Village. Not overly interested in going out of my way to come back again.
I used to love coming to this Value Village because of the quality of stuff the choose to sell from all of the donations (especially the clothes). During Covid when stores were allowed to open again to the public they chose to no longer offer fitting rooms - side note and my personal opinion… I think that was was a smart decision given the circumstances. Long story short, they permanently closed the fitting rooms, this is why my rating is so low. One cashier did suggest I wear super tight leggings and tank top to try the clothes on over my clothes 🫥.
Prices have become INSANE for used items. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and somehow in 20yrs, through two recessions and inflation a T-shirt was always $1-5. So how come in the last 2yrs things have blown up to $20 for a 2nd hand shirt that was donated to them for free. You can’t tell me that’s inflation-it’s corporate greed. Absolutely nothing in this store is worth $20. You know it’s bad when you can get a pair of brand new shorts at Walmart for $5 and the same used pair at V-village for $15.99. I also find it sad they moved to self checkout- the entire purpose of supporting these thrift stores was to give jobs to people who may have trouble finding them. They’re understaffed here but the staff that remain are really great, my review is for the upper management and decision makers of the store.
i frequently go here, about twice a month at minimum and the prices are hit or miss. ive found 6 dollar jeans and 2 dollar tanks, their jewlery is some of the best ive seen from thrift stores n have a very clean location. staff is wonderful and patient would reccomend to anyone
