the shower leaked for the two nights we were there, the walls were cracking, the train passed by every ten minutes and whistled, the blinds were broken so anyone’s headlights are going RIGHT through the curtain which was also broken, this is by far the worst place to stay in the area and it's not even the cheapest. not to mention there was no sound-proofing at all, so I heard everything the *couple* next door was doing. the only good things were that the location is close to the park, (but also next to train tracks), and the service was nice

Positive: Close to Cedar Point. Negative: Room door looked like someone had tried to kick it in. Doorknob was not secure. Door to adjoining room had holes in it. Bugs in bathroom sink and crawling around on floor. Room smelled. No Wi-Fi. Trains rolling by all night. Negative: ""

Truly a nightmare of a place. The only good thing about it was the one housekeeping lady. Our room had obvious water damage and the bathroom was super narrow. It was hard for me as an average sized person to get in and out, so I can’t imagine how someone who’s overweight would be able to even get into the shower. Standing water in the shower and a huge hole in the wall behind the shower exposing the pipes and valves. Management was incredibly rude and dismissive of any concerns we brought to them. We paid 170 to stay a single night, and the place looked like it should be condemned. We didn’t see any bed bugs or rodents, but I would 100% believe they were there.

I just wouldn’t! I believe that homeless people live here. Yes I did see bugs in the bathroom. The room was in terrible shape but the bathroom was the worst. Lesson learned, you pay for what you get! But if you go take your bedding from home and towels and washcloths and pillows and etc. Take a shower before you check in because the bathroom was shady I’m telling you. Positive: The guy at the desk ( maybe owner) was very nice . I kind of feel bad for him.

This place is not a two star motel. But you get what you pay for. Three nights was less than 170$. Our room smelled of old Marijuanaand stale cigarettes even though theres a no smoking sign. There are stray cats everywhere outside. I actually slept on top the covers because I was afraid to look under the blankets. Thank goodness my kid brought a blanket and pillow from home. It is close to cedar point and that's the only highlight The microwave had dried up food all in it, shower had old hair and am old bar of soap and the toilet had pee stains on the back. This reminds me of a pay by the hour place. Oh and the trains sound like they are coming into the room.

So to premise this review I am a young rollercoaster enthusiast and this motel is very close to Cedar Point (under 5 min drive), when I first pulled out the first thing I noticed was the "under new management" sign, albeit already missing a number of letters! I was initially greeted by an Indian man who appeared to be the owner but couldn't work the checkin, a lady came to assist and she was very lovely, she was missing a few teeth and as far as I can remember she was originally from the Carolinas and lived onsite (she also was I later found out the housekeeper) . The lobby was full of "no refund" after checkin signs. The room was definitely interesting- the main door had a small bathroom type lock on it (not very secure), the room was dark and musty. There was one functioning lightbulb in the room. The greatest shock was the bathroom, the shower walls were held together with tape and the carpet into the room was soaking wet. I took my bags with me each day just because I was a bit paranoid but had no issues. When I asked after a few days when my room would be made up Miss Carolina advised she would do it whenever I asked, she really was friendly despite it all. I did find out during my stay that there had been a meth bust a few months prior which was concerning. I stayed overall for 5 days, 4 nights. In hindsight I probably would stay in my rental car next time mainly because I'm cheap but also because the motel wasn't great. But hey nothing bad happened, Miss Carolina was friendly and I'm a young Aussie themepark fan who was looking for nothing but a bed. I'd prob spring for the extra 20$ a night and go elsewhere next time.

This place is absolutely disgusting! The coffee maker had coffee still in the pot with mold growing in it! The bed was so uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and had hair on them. The sheets had dirt all over them. We ended up just sleeping on top of the blanket. One of the amenities was the office being open for 24 hour service so I went to get a couple pillows from the office and the lights were off and the door was locked. The toilet wasn't even attached to the floor. The air conditioner was being held up by duct tape. The walls were filthy and the wall paper was peeling off. It cost us $90 to stay in this motel on a Saturday night. If I could have gotten my money back, I would've just slept in my car but unfortunately I couldn't and all the other hotels in the area were booked up. To add to this horrible experience, their is a train directly behind this motel running all night. Lesson learned, I will spend the extra money for a better hotel and check reviews before booking a hotel!

Stayed there. Never again. Walked in and behold a bed bug on the bed, then looked in the bathroom and yep bed bug on the toilet. Walked out faster then ever. Owner was like I changed everything, I bombed. Sure not to be rude but never again. And only got refunded for 1 night out of 3.
