I like a good old fashioned dive roadside motel, but this place was not good. It was sticky, the water smelled like sewage and left me with a waxy feeling on my skin. There was so much dust and it was almost unbearable. And to think they charge a 50 dollar deposit. Definitely not going to be a second time. And they do not allow visitors. At all. Nah, I'm good I'll money up next time and go somewhere else.
Wanted a motel close to the renaissance festival. Very dirty run down motel. Doors and door frames looked like they haven’t been washed in years. Carpets were all stained and the place smells strongly of cigarette smoke. Bedsheets stained and looked used. We ended up leaving and driving the 2 1/2 hours home and just being out the cost of the room.
It was a very nice, quiet place to stay for the price. I would stay there again definitely!
Old, falling apart, no covers over exposed wires on the walls. Overcharged me $10. Only one outlet held my plug in the wall. Hard lumpy pillows that have probably been there for the last 20 years. Cheap for a reason.
Horrible place to stay absolutely disgusting and the owner is absolutely ridiculous. Complains about water spots and charges you for anything you do to the room when you first get in it’s absolutely disgusting stuff all over the walls sheets and blankets. Have holes in them fridge toilet area disgusting and charges everyone a different price we had things missing from our room.
Pros: inexpensive and convenient. The room was clean and secure. Cons: bugs in the bathroom that owner had to take care of and... because when we called, we were asked if we wanted smoking or non smoking, we said smoking. He said there was only noon smoking available. We agreed to tale it. He then charged a $50 cash security deposit, which was fine, but refused after several times of asking, to write anything about it on the receipt. We took our chances and did get the deposit back after he checked the room, THOROUGHLY. So all in all it was okay.
Way off the road, but it feels like an oasis. Don’t judge from the outside.
Very poor hotel, a lot of drug activity going on, found drain worms in the shower, the owner is biased and rude and the rooms smell like mildew, the owner also went into my room without my permission when I was at work even though I had my do not disturb sign up and it wasn’t a scheduled cleaning day. When I checked out early the owner refused to pay my extra day and claimed I stole a towel yet I brought my own. He literally ripped me off 138 dollars. Place should be shut down by the city, if you do stay at the hotel make sure you do a walk through of the room with the owner and check everything he’s been known to ding people on the screen windows.
I had the honor of trying multiple meals from this place. The food is good. The creations they come up with are amazing and tasty. The drinks are definitely something to try. I had the monster loco. It will be a regular drink for me. The ice cream i
Very informative!!! There is so much to see and learn and the tour guide is very knowledgeable!! I knew some of the bad stuff our government did to Native Indians, but not to this degree. I am so sorry!!
