Beautiful collection of antiques and memorabilia from all around the valley! You can spend hours just looking at everything because there's something at every corner. Definitely a must visit if you're in the San Fernando Valley!
This fantastic museum took me back to my childhood growing up in Arleta, CA in the 1960s. Made me wish for a time portal to go back and visit for a day. Thank you for curating such an amazing collection of memorabilia that speaks to the hearts of so many "children of the valley" from decades past.
An amazing collection of artifacts of all kinds that made up the San Fernando Valley. If you grew up anywhere in the SFV, this museum has all the throwbacks to have you feel young again (or realize your actual age!!)
It's pretty small. The free arcade is nice though. They have DDR, initial D, and some other classic cabinets. Pinball too. Might be a cheaper deal than the round 1 in Burbank at 15 dollars for entry.
Small museum, but such an amazing array of relics from familar places that all grew up knowing. This museum does a great job paying homage to the Valley. Highly recommend worth checking out and playing on theb vintage arcade games that still work.
Glad this place exists! Nice collection of old neon signs, movie cars and props.
Hidden gem 10 minutes from my house. How did I not know about you? Even though I didn't grow up in the Valley, I loved all of the cool, iconic items they had and appreciated the explanation provided. I could relate to the vintage bikes, music and food. Loved playing the arcade games. Huge blast from the past. Gift shop is just the right size with a wide assortment of items. Free parking. As of 8-29-2021 they are only open on weekends, 11am-4pm. Purchased tickets online, got there when they opened, went to lunch after. Fun day with friends who grew up in the area, remembered many of the places and got to relive their childhood.
Wow, what a feast for the eyes. The museum section has so much to look at with such whimsical arrangements it was hard to keep moving along. You could spend 2 hours walking on just that part alone. The crowning attraction is definitely the back arcade where you are surrounded by neon signs. Being back there is the serotonin equivalent of gambling in Vegas. We lost multiple hours back there. It's a very small setup but trust that it won't matter once you start playing. So much fun and the games are set up so you don't need quarters. Just hit the button and start playing. Definitely going back because I still feel like I didn't see everything.
