Valley of the Eagles Golf Club - Golf club in Elyria - 1100 Gulf Rd, USA

For starters, I would play this course again. It is challenging, fun and shows different looks to the players. Our league had an outing here and we all enjoyed the course. We really liked Bob the starter who was very welcoming and helpful. Here's the bad. There are no bathrooms on the course. I saw very few trash cans. A reoccurring theme I seen with other reviewers is that the beer cart girl was indeed horrible. We saw her once the whole time we were there, but we saw her twice facetiming with someone on the phone off to the side. Second issue that is reoccurring as well is the bartenders were just as bad. My fellow golfer waited for damn near ten minutes for a single beer and when he tipped her no money, she exclaimed 'No Tip?!?' Last issue was there was absolutely no food to be had at the turn, which is a bit unfortunate. We finished our round, had a great dinner from the tavern, but it was shocking to see that none of the regular golfers stuck around for food and drink which tells me something. I really feel the management can do better for its patrons and hope it does in the future.

An amazing course with a ton of river scenes. Plenty of par 4s, 5s, and 3s. Definitely one for you bucket list

The food was really good and reasonably priced! The atmosphere was great! We were greeted right away and sat inside, love the live edge tables and bar! The staff was nice but in the short time we were there, we had three different wait staff? I wanted more to drink but couldn't get anyone's attention and had to track down hot sauce for my friend,myself. I left a tip, not really sure who ended up with it. Maybe just an off time? I'll go back, like I said the food was good.😊

We made a reservation as we had a large party. The service was great and most of the food was fantastic. I just wish they had had more appetizers we could share around the table, almost all appetizers were 3-5 pieces of something which isn't great for large groups

Very scenic and the course is challenging but fun. THIS IS NOT A WALKING COURSE because some holes are at least 6 to 8 minutes apart if you're walking. Lots of back tracking from green to next tee box. Not a real good flow to vise layout. Course conditions is in good shape. Hole #13 is the prettiest and fun in all of Lorain County.

The golf was great. Had a 112 tea time yesterday. Pace of play was decent, finished in 405. My only complaint and it's a big one. Is the lack of beverages on the course. Playing on one of the hottest days of the year. We saw the cart girl once on whole number 3, and then she drove right by us when we were on the back and she was on the front... All of us yelled and she never turned... Never came by us the entire 2 hours when all of us were in need of water... I brought my own two bottled waters and those were gone on the front.

11/10, 6 Stars, 101%. Everything was perfect. We are so grateful for Candace and her team, they went above and beyond for us this past Friday 8/25/23. From handing out bubbles to my guests, bring my husband and I appetizers during our cocktail hour photos, turning on a bubble machine I forgot to delegate, to even washing out my Tupperware I left at the venue the night of our wedding. We felt so accommodated, special, and like we were all on the same team to ensure our vision came to life. We received so many compliments on the venue and that the food was “the best wedding food I’ve ever had!” (Chicken and sirloin, veggie pasta). The staff was incredible kind and made us feel like we were right where we were supposed to be. Thank you so much Valley of the Eagles-I can’t complain one bit!!
