High valley I'm Jeff Crawford and I just wanted to write a drop a note about your motels thanks for helping the people that really need help and housing and for treating them good thank you
Can you say cesspool?? Holy cow... Bed bugs.. ac broken. Water in sinks turned off due to being broken and never fixed, toilets not working... It's like the living dead outside but instead of zombies it's tweakers and God knows what else.... If your homeless living in a cardboard box then this might be an upgrade... Well,. Maybe not... I'd take the cardboard box... At least it doesn't have bed bugs!!
I give this motel 5 stars because the owners go out of their way to provide an affordable place to stay for people trying to get back on their feet. I don't know why people keep posting about roaches, my wife and I have been here almost a year and we've never seen a single roach. If you see roaches here, it's because you're a slob and you need to clean up after yourself. As for the posts about bad management, my wife and I have never had a single problem with the owners OR the manager. Having been here almost a year, I remember quite a few of the people who have posted about the management, and I have vivid memories of them acting like complete Jackasses and violating several of the motels rules, which would be why they had issues with the management. News flash, people, if you act like a punk you're going to have problems with management anywhere you go. The Valley Inn Motel is a great place for anyone trying to get back on their feet and the management does an excellent job. BTW, I legally can't mention which ones, but three of the more recent reviews badmouthing the management were thrown out because they were selling drugs in their rooms, hence their overzealous attempts to discredit the management.
Gross place. They showed me a brand new bed when I paid for the room. When I checked in the bed was old nasty and dirty. Cable TV didn't work. Shower had no curtain. I felt so dirty just being there. Paid for 2 weeks and left after 5 days. No refund. One day the manager pounded on my door while I was showering (with no curtain) just to ask for a ride to the gas station. AVOID THIS PLACE.
I didn't stay I almost did, I paid, then went to stay, the bed was on the floor, there was bugs on the bed. There was bugs in the fridge. The bathroom was so discussing. The electrical for the tv, didn't look safe. The bugs on the bed, is what upset me the most. How can they rent that out.
Was a welcome place to rest our heads until we we're able to find a permanent place to live. George went to bat for us, and our " special" accommodations we needed for our four legged family member. (They don't accept animals) we would have had no where to go. Thank you George.
Rooms are small and stinky. Bugs everywhere! Someone staying there told me that the Valley Inn motel had a nickname: The Cockroach Motel. They only have weekly rates. One hour in one of these rooms will have you begging for a full refund that you'll never get.
Cheap, but that's it's only advantage. Clientele is sketchy, room repair is inconsistent and there's traffic all night. Manager isn't a bad guy and tries to work with you if needed.
Fantastic trail. Super short hike. With lots of stops, it only took me an hour to get to the destination. Definitely worth your time and relatively easy!
This place is so fun! Cory and Alyssa were working the night and went and were so helpful. Cory gave us the rundown on the place and both employees made rounds giving everyone tips on how to hit the target better. After our session we went upstairs a
The road leading up is narrow, but fits two cars and is paved all the way to the lookout. The lookout offers incredible views over the valley and Utah Lake and is amazing at sunset. There is a trail leading south from the overlook along the mountain
Yummm! Actually real Polynesian food! Yes it tastes amazing and YES you need to try it. Lots to eat and get filled up on. Coconut cake is soooo good. The Kalua Chicken, teriyaki chicken, ribsâ¦.. this just melts in your mouth. It is West of the Pro
Love the Bean Museum! Such beautiful animals. They just opened up the new Utah exhibit too! Last time I was there, they had just begun. I had a fun time going to their opening night event, and won a little prize:
