I've gone at two different times of the year. Once in summer and once in Fall. Both were fantastic. A spectacular place for Autumn photography and exercise. The foliage is breathtaking. Good place to take the kids to get some fresh air.
Pretty picturesque park with lots of hiking trails and a sandy lake "beach". Popular destination so the parking lot fills quickly after noon on weekends. No restrooms opened during June of 2023, just a smelly porta potty by the parking lot. Dogs are welcomed. Has a covered picnic area.
A peaceful place to sit and relax, do fishing, go on a hike, a small pond beach (allowed only during summer), a gentle stream alongside the walking trail.. a complete package!
There are lots of great trails and a nice pond at Valley Falls for hiking, running, and walking. There is a pavilion for parties as well. You can also access the Hop River linear trail by climbing up the stairs near the pond. There used to be some portapotties there, but I think they removed them for the winter, so keep that in mind if you plan an event or plan to run or hike a long distance. Parking is ample and safe.
Beautiful as always. It always blows my mind how breathtaking this park is. My favorite is to head straight up and sit along the cliffs. Unbelievably tranquil.

Awesome park. Loved it today. Visited with family. This is again today 03/25 I visited this place with my friends group. Awesome place for family picnic and nice weather supported us to go on the top hill/cliff.
Such a family friendly place to go and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! It's amazing what God has created and to be able to peacefully enjoy it is a blessing. It can get a little crowded ( hey everyone enjoys a good thing) people are friendly here and give you space ie. They dont crowd you. & if you catch the right time you could very likely have jt all to yourself

What an amazing place ! We had corn chowder, apple, pear, baby kale salad and flatbread with spinach and artichoke! Everything was freshly made and tasted very good. Server was nice! Enjoyed our dinner very much on Friday.
Not very busy yet...it started to pick up as we left. My brother got the steak tips. Huge pieces... other than that he enjoyed it. I had the bacon cheeseburger. Very good and cooked the way I like it. Service was excellent.
