Clean diner with a traditional diner atmosphere. Our server was great and very attentive. The prices were affordable for good portion size and food was tasty. I enjoyed my gyro salad with green goddess dressing and my son had a BLT and French onion soup.

I came here for the first time last week and was impressed with the quality and service. I ordered a hamburger, which was very good and only $12 for the whole meal. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The only concern I have would be the bathroom floor and the hallway leading into the bathroom were very slick underfoot. Despite this, it is a very well run establishment and they will definitely be seeing more of me!

The best breakfast I've ever had!! Everything was honestly perfect!! The French toast was amazingly delicious not soggy or dry. The eggs were over easy and the wheat toast was buttered up n toasted to perfection!! The bacon and sausage were incredibly cooked to my favorite flavor and not burnt. I'd love to eat here everyday if I lived closer!! The service was great and everything came out quickly!! Best diner ever!!

Breakfast is ok but son ordered a burger. Burger came out raw first time and still pink the second. Don’t know how you mess up a burger but come here if you want to find out. Manager came over and asked what the issue was. After sharing the issue he offered a replacement. I said no thanks. He simply just walked away without apologizing for service and preparation of food. Extremely callous and unprofessional. This is why there continues to be a steady decline in experience and satisfaction at this place. There was once a time when this was the “IT” place. Truly unfortunate.

I came with my siblings on Saturday, Dec. 23rd. Great staff! Noticeably good coffee...not your avarage lousy diner coffee, food was above average. Really nice, relaxed place to eat and visit.

The food is mediocre. It could be better. The deserts seems stale. The dips, gravies and dressing are blah. The staff is great. I can make half of the meals I buy here better at home. Time to stay home and save money.

Stopped in for some late breakfast and got the French Toast and cheese blitz’s. Both were very good but the French Toast needed a little more flavor. The Cheese Blintzes were amazing and while I did not set out to eat the entire plate I did. The coffee was good and the server who took care of us was very good as well, the coffee cup did not get cold or empty which means she was on her game. (Cool tattoos as well). I would recommend if you are in the area.

So... My wife and I decided to give the old valley diner a shot after not going there in probably over a decade. How bad could it be, we said. My wife's pancakes were pretty good, but there was a problem with mine... There was a hair in my food. A black hair that stood at attention after being unearthed from my homemade corned beef hash was on my plate. And the waiter actually had the nerve to ask if I was sure it was a hair... I certainly was. The re-fire was serviceable, and the tater tots I had as a sub for home fries were very peppery and had a ton of seasoning, though it tasted like it was from old fry oil and remnants. We will do our best to avoid visiting, though the monthly coffee with a state representative is enticing.
