Valentine Cave is an awesome and easy cave to explore in Lava Beds National Monument. It is easily accessible, spacious, and easy to navigate. I was the only one in the cave in the early morning, and bought a head lamp and a flashlight to be able to light up as much of the cave as I could, which made for an awesome experience.

This cave and the sentinel are by far the best of the easy caves. Though the latter was closed for repairs as of june 2023 with no estimate of completion. You can see a lot of Valentine's without effort just by staying in the main tube. But try some of the side tubes to get a taste of real caving.

Don’t miss this one! We went in 13 caves and this was maybe my favorite one! It has a few branch-offs that keep it exciting but they reconnect so you can’t really get lost. The ceilings drop down to about 3ft for a little bit but then opens back up. It’s a satisfying length. The floors are fairly smooth and has cool lava ripples. The walls right by the entrance are awesome

Fun lava tube to walk through and see the ice formation at the bottom. Easy walk, well set up, but bring your own lights - it’s dark down there!

A very cool cave! Make sure to bring a helmet as the cave does vary in height and only gets lower the further you go. I didn't go all the way to the end because I did not bring a helmet. Make sure to wear shoes with good soles as the floor can get spikey and bring thick-ish gloves so your hands don't get beat up. The roof was dripping with water, but it wasn't terrible. I had a hat but never felt water on me. The floor also had water, but I never felt that it was high or made things slippery. There was a couple that arrived the same time I did, but no one else was there. Having them there was nice because after they left, it was very creepy, but fun, being in the cave all by myself.

A smaller cave to hike in when visiting the Lava Beds in Tulelake, Ca. There are a few caves you can explore and this one was very neat. It is like a giant circle when you go inside and it is very easy to walk through. As with the other caves, be aware of bats!

Very cool cave. We ventured in a couple hundred feet using just our cell phone flash light. Even if you don't go past the twilight zone it's worth checking out.

This was a great experience. So many twist and turns. You need to be on good shape to go on some of these caves. Bring a good flashlight, gloves and a light jacket.

A relatively short hike uphill offers a stunning view, but it's important to exercise caution on the rocky descent. Be prepared for the lack of shade, making it quite hot during the summer. This trail is not suitable for strollers, but it can be mana

Y'all did a great job with the fair this year. I did seem that there were significantly less vendors this year. But all the good ones were there. The carnival was excellent and slaughtered the klamath county fair. The price of the ride bands were mor
