Vail Run Resort - Resort hotel in Vail - 1000 Lions Ridge Loop, USA

First of all, I would like to thank the personnel! Amazing customer service. The rooms are spacious and clean! Unfortunately our room lost power and heating in the evening of second night, they fixed it fast, and for the heating brought us the portable heaters which worked out just fine! For the inconvenience we got reimbursed for the second night. Then I forgot some stuff in the room upon leaving, and the lady from the staff was kind to give me a call about it, and then mailed it all the way to CA. Most hotels just have friendly personnel that wouldn’t get out of the way to help, but Vail Run resort is more about actions:)

The staff person was very friendly and helpful, and easy check in, and even took me on a little tour of the facilities (after check in time was done). It is very attractive with a big atrium in the middle that all the rooms face. Nice big pool outside, and a heated on inside. Pizza place and I think something else on site(cant remember). Old computer in lobby, but works ok. nice little garden area. convenient parking lot. downtown is just minutes away, across freeway. big rooms with lots of beds. nice view of mtns. Little shops inside, like massage place; and exercise room. You might want earplugs for the traffic during busy hours. There is a shuttle that takes you to the ski hills and downtown. Lots of good restaurants there; and it has an Alpine architecture. Peaceful in the summer; but watch out for the "swing" months when everything closes down for a few weeks.

Crazy to charge for parking when it’s off season and 3 cars in the whole lot. Beds are outdated and not comfortable. Carpet definitely needs replacement.no tv in bedroom .no door in bedroom just a loud partition you have to pull to shut.

July 2023 This was a RCI Exchange bonus week for me and the wife. Visiting from Arizona. Our very first time coming to Colorado. Stayed in one bedroom on the fourth floor. Located in back of building. Facing a wonderful view of mountain. No problem with the room. It had been updated. Nice large deck with table and four chairs. I agree with other reviews on great location and what is said about the resort in general. Good and bad. The service was very good. The building needs some alaround updating. The weather was in the high 80's. With out AC the room was very uncomfortable sleeping at night. At night I left the sliding door open sometimes. The wife however was uncomfortable doing that. They supplied a fan for the room. Also you can here road traffic with the slider open. This resort to me is a great budget place to stay. Especially for a family. Note: First part of July the city had a major water main break on the road behind Vail Run Resort. It flooded the entire basement. The game room is shut down. The laundry for the resort and self service is working ok. They just yesterday on July 27,2023 opened up the road behind the resort. All of the other rooms in the basement have their content moved into a section of the parking garage. The carpet has been removed. They have cut the sheet rock up about three feet from the floor. This is going to take many months of repairing. If any owners are reading this. Maybe give an update on what is the schedule for finishing the repair.

The resort is in perfect condition including the rooms, space and cleanliness however one staff member by the name TERRANCE was the most annoying, pathetic and miserable guy who threatened us ( family) that he will kick us out from the resort if we don’t sign the paperwork ( our license plate and credit card number) and give it to him within an hour or so which me and my husband was going to give him before he closes his shift, he came to our room with his nasty rude face and has the audacity to tell the customer that he can kick us out, what a miserable guy was he, I hope no one get to see his stinky face as I have never ever seen this type of customer service in my life, afterwards when we dropped the paperwork he apologized and said sorry I was a complete jerk to you and I shouldn’t have said that since I didn’t get the paperwork I was upset, Really if things don’t happen as per his timing that’s how he treats the customer? Also I wish they have some kind of security lock as anyone can access the hotel since the lobby closes at 7:45 pm and it’s very open and quite which is the only point that doesn’t make us stay again. I really want the management to take action against this guy TERRANCE as he’s obnoxious, rude guy who doesn’t like if things doesn’t work as per him and shouts on a lady. Awful, Awful, shameless guy.

This was a perfect stay for mom with teenage daughter and friend. Kids came up to watch the go pro games, could not have asked for a better place to stay. Staff was flexible and helpful every time I needed something. Room had all the things we needed, kitchen was key! Bathroom shower was amazing! The extras such as game room and pool gave us all an extra area to go when we needed more space. Exactly what we needed for the stay.

Killer views, excellent staff that just cannot do enough for you, lots of things to do, don't miss this place, you will be sorry. Pool, hot tub, pizza joint on the premises that serves alcohol....there is even a salon and a spa

We had a great time there during the Memorial weekend. Excellent customer service; our unit was well-equipped. The parking fee is $15/day with a short walk. The heated pool completes with barbecue grills and games sets, a sauna, and a gym room. Below the hotel, there is a small pizza restaurant with a bar. The food is good, inexpensive, and friendly servers. In front of the hotel, there is a bus stop to take a bus to many places, including Vail shopping mall, available every hour, the hotel has a bus schedule,
