Vagabond Inn San Pedro - Featured Reviews (645)
Amazing service from awesome staff. Rooms are comfortable and come with a decent sized fridge, TV, and shower/tub. Close to the beach and right next to a pretty good sushi restaurant. It's not super fancy, but it's a great deal for the price. Weekdays, they offer free coffee and juices in the morning. On Friday and weekends, they have honeybuns, apples, tangerines, mini muffins, and granola bars. The ice in the ice machine tastes great. Thank you, everyone, at Vagabond Inn San Pedro! :) <3
This place was exactly what we needed. The price was good relative to anything else around. We booked a room with two queen beds (#112). There was a working TV, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. I am easily grossed out by germs and things that strangers have used before me, but I didn't have any problems at this Inn. The beds looked and felt clean. I expected the beds to be horrible, but I actually thought these beds were great. The bathroom looked like it had been cleaned. There was a new roll of toilet paper and new toiletries in the bathroom when we arrived. The front desk was welcoming and helpful.
We arrived at the Inn around 9pm on a Thursday and were starving. There were plenty of food options within quick walking distance for us to get to. I highly recommend "SP Tacos". We made the walk with a 2yr old and a 4yr old and I felt safe. There were a few homeless people, but the other locals were really friendly when we interacted with them.
This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget and want to be near the Royal cruise ship terminal. I would 100% stay here again the next time I go on a cruise.
I have been coming here for a long time to spend with my kids. Everyone is nice and respectful ❤️ I don't go anywhere else because Vagabond is my home away from home.
The rooms are great and the pool is amazing and the location is around many places for the kids and you to go to. I am a satisfied customer all the time. Thank you 🙏❤️

They were so very kind! It’s so close to the port for Royal and they even offered a free shuttle there! We signed up for a later shuttle cause the 11am was full, but one of the workers brought out an additional can to take just us. It was so sweet and we didn’t even ask! Very grateful! The room and price was perfect for us - and totally recommend for those who are cruising and need a place to lay there head before their adventures!
This hotel is old and a little dated, but my room was clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A lot of restaurants nearby. Less than 3 miles to the cruise port.
You get what you pay for. $120 for a queen bed is still too expensive for this place. The room looked run down there was dried blood on the door and I ended up wiping down the whole room with disinfectant because we were just so grossed out about that. Bed looked clean but we didn't even end up staying the night there, we crashed at a family members house. We only used the room to get ready for a wedding we went to. Air conditioning worked and employees were nice. It's a great location but just wasn't up to par. The pictures they have online are not the same rooms.
The room is pretty bare bones, but the location to the port for our cruise and the price were amazing. The staff was super friendly and made sure to accommodate us in any way they could. The gentleman behind the counter even drove my wife and I to the port when we wouldn’t fit on their complimentary shuttle. Will definitely stay here again next time we cruise from this port.
Rooms are pretty bare. I think they advertised as having black out drapes but that's definitely not the case. Does have a mini fridge and microwave which comes in handy. The bed was comfortable with big fluffy pillows and think comfy blankets. Staff is nice. I would stay here again.
Don't let the reviews detract from this great hotel. I was really worried based on lots of recent reviews but here was our experience:
Common areas - immaculate
Restaurant - we had a great burger and chicken Caesar salad. Didn't eat breakfast but

The Sunken City in Los Angeles is a hidden gem that unveils a captivating blend of urban decay and nature's resilience. Walking through the remnants of the old neighborhood, now perched on the edge of the cliffs, offers a unique and hauntingly beauti
Great place to make out very peaceful pretty views on a clear day you can see all the way to Catalina island and Long Beach people and nice and kind I go out there to study sometimes.
Point Fermin Park is a beautiful spot in San Pedro to get nice vistas, enjoy the breeze, feel like youâre away from the city. The natural beauty is amazing, the park is ontop of cliffs so the view bellow is breathtaking. Iâve been coming here for
Animal style burger is the best. The sauce and onions put it over the top especially at that price point. Fries would be better animal style instead of plain.
Small free aquarium with a variety of small to medium fish and sea creatures. Great value given that it's free, though donations are encouraged. The fish and such are fun to look out but don't expect an in depth scientific explanation of their behavi
Yum!! Stayed at the Crown Plaza just a couple of blocks away for a work event in the area. Walked over to San Pedro Cafe for breakfast this morning and wow! Service is prompt and excellent. Food is phenomenal and huge portions. Absolutely the best me
