Vagabond Inn – Sylmar - Serviced accommodation in Sylmar - 12775 Encinitas Ave, USA

We were very happy and grateful to get a place close to the Grapevine on hwy 5 on short notice. Otherwise, our nickname for the hotel and it's surroundings was "the Fleabag Arms". To be realistic, considering the price and availability; you get what you pay for! For someone needing an inexpensive room on a moments notice, it worked well. Do not confuse it for "a destination" though!

My experience here was amazing until I realized the showers didn’t work! I was in room 129! The shower did not work! I had to bathe myself in the sink! It pissed me off! On top that I wanted to go to the pool right on Saturday and the pool was literally was closed with no sign saying it was closed I had to go to the office and they told me it was closed! That pissed me off! Bc why do you have a pool if nobody can’t use it! Then the door was not to my liking because I went to hotels and their doors aren’t broken … like I couldn’t like shut the door like where nothing is coming out.. but the light kept ruining my eyes bc I kept thinking the door was open but it wasn’t. Overall I love the smell when I walked in!!! It smelled really good! 👍 and the bed was very comfortable and the place was pretty cool. The only thing I would say is that hotel needs a whole entire renovation! Bc the rooms needs some work! And update on vending machines bc ppl now using Apple Pay! Thank god I had cash on me!!! Other than that my score is self explanatory really. Even tho me and my man had a great time together… it’s just something things needed to be changed! Yeah it’s a good price to be but isn’t a great spot for the price being 300$ for 2 days! They need lower than to 50$ a night bc giving 90s lowkey! Wouldn’t recommend this place if u want to stay in Sylmar for 3 days or more!!! It’s literally wack! But I guess u get what u paid for!

My family and I lived here for a time. Everyone was just amazing. Housekeeping comes every day. They ask us to allow them in because they are trying to maintain cleanliness in the rooms and property as whole. They never came before 10am and never after 5pm. This is honestly the cleanest place I've ever stayed.

Was told it was going to be a 3 star but it wasn't. Had motel 6 soap. Not very clean and all the furniture was old, out of date, and cheap. Bed was clean. Shower was new. That's all

Positive: When I arrived my room was very underwhelming. I took a photo went down to the lobby showed the night staff. She called the boss I quickly got a new room. It was better. Negative: When I arrived my room it wasn¿t cleaned. There were 2 queen beds 1 bed looked like someone just slept in it very messy. There were no clean towels it was very dirty! I complained they gave me a new room! It was better Negative: ""

Completely last minute & chose this place to stay at. Glad we did!! Easy & Fast Check In! Soon as we walked in Room smelled CLEAN&FRESH. Everything Nice & Clean. Small Mini Fridge, Bed blankets & pillow’s, the towel’s. The A/C worked perfectly!! Very comfortable bed. Right Off The Freeway. Across The Street from Gas station & Mc Donald’s. Less than 20min away From Six Flag’s Magic Mountain.

Decent choice. Main benefit is that it was cheap. Beds were OK. My issues though is that there was no heat in the rooms (we had two rooms) and the water pressure in the shower was lousy. Room was clean.

It's a slum bug's in the rooms managment likes to talk down to the patreon Nick is always yelling at people as if they're children AND Drunk in the evenings with no respect no refrigerators ice machines are always broken AC are broken in most the rooms pool is green and is optional at Nick's Time and date of choice
