Vacation Host Inn - Motel in Ocala - 3330 S Pine Ave, USA

Second time we've stayed here. My daughters both enjoy the grassy area to play and I like the fact the area is enclosed away from all moving vehicles. My room has a floor to ceiling window, no bugs that we've seen and we enjoy our privacy. We like it better this time, maybe it's bc of the new owners or the newer staff, either way we like it for the price.

I think this is the first time I have rated a place 1 star. But this place earned it. This motel looked the best. But I was wrong. Hair on the sink, hair on a pillow, stains on the underside of bedspread. $5 deposit for the remote and he scanned my license. That was my first tipoff this place was sketch! The TV was completely shot, just saw white lines. It worked great as a radio though. The fridge froze my lettuce. Carpet was very dirty so I wore my shoes while walking around. Only one of the 3 lights in the room worked. Then the grumpy cleaning lady kept banging down my door. All that for the low price of $72. What a steal, from me. At least the room was non-smoking so it didn't smell.

5 star for the price they have a nice staff at the front desk and they have a pool. This area probably has other good hotels but when I called around I got a bunch of high prices and at this time I was looking for a place to sleep that had a pool that looked decent and we really did not find this place online we drove into the area checked a bunch of places and based on prices for 1 week and the places we checked this was a good choice. The guy happened to let us check out a few rooms and we picked one and it worked for us I decided to write this review to tell others about this place in the hopes of saving them some time and money so check it out if you need a good price for a room the weekly rate is like 200 though I am sure depending when you go the prices change but I would check this place out again if I just need a place to stay for a bit in the Ocala Fl area I am not saying this is a 2 or 3 hundred dollar a night five star but it is 5 star as far as a nice price and a descent place it is a good choice for an economy stay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The parking lot on a weekend was full of unenjoyable activity. I'm talking lots of scrubs, druggies, and losers. But come Sunday nite all clear they go home. Staff was nice, and cleaning lady was great. Bring your own coffee pot and foods.

Great deal the room was good size and free WIFI and free cable TV. They have a pool but it was cold out. The people at the desk were nice and helpful with some directions and told us what was around the area to eat. We would stay here again because for the price it was good.

The worst thing about this hotel us the house keeping. They have 1 good maid but good luck getting her. They don't do anything. No vacuum. No mop. No cleaning. They just set your sheets and towels outside your door. What are they good for. We pay way to much for these ppl to be so lazy.

Very clean rooms for the price you pay you get yur moneys worth. You get cable wifi ac privacy awesome staff. I have too say they are defiantly right about ots the best value hotel in the county. Pools a little on the warm side. And the price change on the weekends and holidays isnt all that great either . swimming pool is a little on the warm side and

I would never recommend noone to stay here when I Get to my room an pull my sheets back there I see hair in my bed and bloody sheets mattress pad was even nastier. This hotel is filthy and not comfortable at all. The staff lied stating they spoke with a manager but yet you told me that your manager you would have to call he stay out of town . But i left my name an number for them to call my back when they do see the manager. I had to call them back. when i called I asked to speak to the boss oh all of a sudden he left. And for the owner the hotel was not up to part. An I know I was an inspector for courtyard marriott an I know what to look for so regardless if it was an ink spot or dried up blood all the sheets was dirty spot on white sheets at a hotel is not up to hotel expectation so stop trying to make the hotel look like it is not. The pictures on the site are false it dont look like that.
