Starhip works great when it works, but the problem starts when it doesn't work. Their customer service is horrible! It is the worst of any 3rd party vendor that I currently work with or have ever worked with. I thought nobody could be worse than CDK, but I was wrong. First, you can only open a support case via their portal. Now, since their password reset doesn't work, good luck getting that reset because you can't open a case since you can't get into the portal. Secondly, you can only communicate with support via email and don't expect them to respond more than once a day. That means if you have an issue, it will take days to get resolved. Our current only has already been going on for a week as of today, which means we've been unable to ship for a week. UPDATE you didn't find me by my email because this isn't my work email address. I know who my account manager is, and it doesn't change my opinion that your support is horrible. You need more than your portal to open a case and more than email to communicate with them. Rest assured, we will be investigating other options. One last thing; when you have multiple reviews from customers saying your support is horrible, maybe you should listen to them and make changes.
Software is great. Support is another story. Over the course of the last year, support has taken a dive. Getting someone to answer the phone was impossible, and now, isn't even a possibility. You have to go through a portal and submit a ticket to obtain support. Emails to support are also no longer available. If you're issues are urgent, be prepared to wait until the next day to get a response. Also, implementation timelines are outrageous. On average, three weeks between calls. I am (and others are) actively looking for alternatives which is a bummer, because the software is great. I will not be recommending StarShip to anyone in the future.
Initially I was skeptical about the software because of the price. Unfortunately, I was correct. The company totally misled me, including the sales team and the higher ups and now I am stuck with some thing I cannot use and they would not give me a refund. This has been a total headache and since we are a small business it really impacts us!!!
Great service and will go above and beyond to make sure customer is satisfied. Will be using again.
