I love Uwajimaya (I usually go to Bellevue and Renton) but this was my first time going to this one. I was worried by all the cars spilling in (bad traffic backup) that there would be no parking but we easily found a spot. We stayed less than 2 hours and it was validated at checkout. Huge selection of Asian goods. The produce looked fresh. The meat and seafood section was huge. They have tons of snacks that you’d expect and just an overall amazing selection. Checkout was pretty quick, despite the crowd. I thought the little gift and trinket section was pretty sad (usually my favorite part) until I found out there was an entirely separate store full of stuff attached. You have to checkout before going in and they require you to leave opened food and drinks on a shelf outside. The little trinket shop was deceptively big, with a second floor devoted to anime stuff. They had a great selection there plus lots of books. For food they had like 8 stalls in a court, all of which looked and smelled great. We did not eat there because we didn’t see any available seats, it was quite crowded throughout every area (Saturday afternoon). I will say there was a man yelling and causing a scene but security hopped on the situation and got him out quickly. Didn’t even know they had security but luckily they had backup! Overall I’m in love with this store and will go back, just hopefully not on a weekend due to the crowd. Highly recommend if you want to try something new or if you’re looking to start cooking Asian foods.
Truly one of a kind store. Great produce, wide selection of seafood / meats and a truly epic selection of prepared foods round out the offerings. Don’t forget to save room to hit some of the many food stalls that line the hallway just outside the store.
Uwajimaya is a Japanese grocery store that has all the essential bakery, meat, seafood, noodles, rices and spices. They also have a mini food court that sells mochi donuts, bubble teas, fish cakes, Thai, Chinese, Korean and whole roast marinated duck cut to your liking. The store was clean and prices were a whole lot better than if you were to buy them at a regular grocery store. Fun and interesting going down all the aisles and seeing all the different food items!
genuinely the most amazing store i’ve ever stumbled across. was in chinatown for lunch and decided to stop in, great selection of foods you can’t find anywhere else and tasty food court options. loved the bookstore inside as well!
When I stepped into this supermarket I thought it looked really neat and clean and spacious! The self-checkout stations look cool. I was surprised to find Royce chocolate store in here, it has some really good chocolates!
Large grocery store specializing in Asian products with a food court, hot food sales, and even alcohol. It was really fun to browse the store as it has an extensive hot food section at affordable prices. There were a lot of products that I couldn’t find at other grocery stores like spam musubi. The food court also had a variety of different food types including Hawaiian food and Beard Papa. Would recommend visiting to get your groceries fix. Very close to the train/bus station.
Wonderful supermarket with many multicultural offerings. I do suggest trying the pekking duck from the deli. It is absolutely fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, and affordable!! Many of the other deli items are great, too, such as their spam musubi, vermicelli salad, and pre-packaged sushi, just to name a few!
Cool place with a ton of culture in every corner! They have any kind of food from the east you could possibly want and then some. Decent prices and the store is cleaner than any grocery store I've ever been in. Check out the food court area and snacks, that's where the good stuff is!
My partner loves to eat the balut from this grocery store, and often times we end up sitting down (3-4 tables) to order more from their menu. My favorites are the pork noodle bowl, papaya salad with pickled crab, and beef jerky with sticky rice. From

My wife and I came here by accident. We were both very pleasantly surprised by the taste of real coffee. But the main thing is a pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive quiet music, a cultured audience and very friendly staff. A small coffee shop with a big
