Uvas Reservoir County Park - Country park in Morgan Hill - 14200 Uvas Rd, USA

at the parking lot you can see the narrow trail up to the peninsula into the woods, this trail is longer than I expected, you could see the lake view in the middle, in the end when you reach the reservoir you can touch the water. Then the problem is that you could either return the same way, or walk very carefully on the slope along the reservoir back to parking. You have to be very careful not to slide into the reservoir, not recommended! You can see my family taking videos of me trying to capture me sliding into the reservoir which will be uploaded to Youtube called Fail of the Week! But I managed to reach the parking without falling! The rocks are quite beautiful too, red ones

You can see a good deal of the reservoir and there is a small picnic area next to the parking lot. You can walk on a small trail from their. If you stop right before the parking lot and pull on the side of the road you can see the dam

I been by this place many time when on my work days, unfortunately , due to.lack.of rain, its quiet concer looking, never stopped here, but had the opportunity to when I brought my wife on a Saturday morning drive after visiting the Morgan Hill farmers market. We walked or hiked down the resivior, I t think its a resi, anyways we had a great time exploring and just laughing together, so much here to see, but when we just drive by, we miss what is really here to find. Take your time and enjoy nature if you need to get out, grab a bag or burgers or doughnut even, its a great place to get away.

Very nice setting. Popular with fishermen. Good picnic spot. Tables in the shade. Beautiful oak trees.

Outstanding today. It was raining big drops up there. Noone around, so serene. Wind blowing cold, it reminded me of what winter use to be here... beautiful

I love Uvas Reservoir and I'm so happy it's back to it's glorious day's. In the sense that the lake it's back to having tons of water. And the fishing picking up. The fish populations becoming healthy again.
