UVA Hospitality House - Indoor lodging in Charlottesville - 205 14th St NW, USA

It was great! They were so nice! I recommend to anyone it takes away the stress of an expensive hotel while you are with a loved one going through medical needs

I was looking for a last minute hotel and was about to drive to Waynesboro to get one under $300/ night when I found this. For $10 I got a locked bedroom in an apartment with shared bath, kitchen and living space. The bed was twin size and I wish I would have known to bring my own pillow because they have flat hospital pillows. I felt safe and I had a place to heat up the soup I brought. It did get noisy at night when I could hear dance music from downtown and a train woke me up around midnight, but other than that, peaceful and appreciated. I booked late and walked about 2 blocks from the hospital. Lots of restaurants on the way. I walked back to the hospital the next morning. There was a sidewalk the whole way. Everything was very clean in the apartment. Only available for families of people who are being treated at UVA from out of town.

This house is the nicest place. I can promise you this I will always call them first before I get a hotel. I would like to thank Mary, Barbara, Sara for being so nice and helping us get around the hospital and doctors office Thank you again Anita Bettin

Great service that UVA provides to the families of out of town patients. Forgot my toothpaste but they didn't have any - my only complaint.

Great staff-professional AND friendly, great cleanliness, supportive, quiet, private (even though sharing); felt safe and supported by others staying there; and especially Mary! Sara came up right away to check on A/C. Thank you for having this wonderful place to stay! My husband and i stayed one night; and he went for his surgery, and i stayed the next night myself, with two men who were staying for radiation, and i felt safe and calm with them.

I cannot say enough about the staff, doctors, and facilities at this hospital. It's the best 6 stars if not more.

The employees are always extremely nice. The rooms are very simple but very clean. Bathrooms are sparkling clean. There were even snacks and drinks for us this time. We will be back for sure

I was so glad to find this available to patients. Nice and clean. Mary it was so very helpful. Everyone who was there for the two days was very nice and helpful. Excellent location. Was so glad to find some place close to the hospital because I come from over 4 hours away about every 3 months for treatment for Parkinson's. Amazing accommodations!
