UTC Aerospace Systems - Aerospace company in Foley - 111 Airport Dr, USA

While I didn't go here there is a field across the street that we take our dogs to just about everyday. The field is absolutely beautiful.

***OTR Drivers beware**** UTC botched 3 out of 5 loads. Always steming from paperwork issues on Friday or after 1500 where no one on second shift has a clue or the juice to make an executive decision. Case in point. Friday, before a 3 day Juneteenth weekend, we arrived at noon for a scheduled pick up. 5 crates for Pratt & Whitney Atlanta. Checked in to shipping. We were told the crew would be back in 20 minutes and they would come to us. Rolled the tarp back, laid straps & vee boards and waited. Canadian driver pulls in, checks in and they start loading him. Fork lift operator asked which load we were waiting for, and once again we were told to wait. Canadian driver departs, loaded, at our 2 hour mark. Nothing loaded. No communication from the forklift operators just that the 3 forklifts were busy loading the blue skip with trash before the long weekend. Called our BNSF broker, who referred us to a snipe hunt for an employee named Blake? At the three hour mark, I collected straps, vee-boards and closed the tarp and left the property with the intended crates still on the dock. WE deadheaded to Atlanta. Management at UTC turned out the lights at 1500 and Pratt & Whitney Atlanta and Corporate in Connecticut could not locate a positive phone number to their own shipping office. Unsure if this was a hot load but it won’t be picked up till Tuesday. Deliver Atlanta on Wednesday by some other individual willing to waste their time on UTC. Shameful fact is that UTC is only 35 minutes from the house, just inconvenient that it isn’t a working operation ready to ship as advertised. Give UTC a miss drivers.

Super fast loading once you get a dock. All people working here are nice.

Worked there a few years back. Pay was great. Overtime if you wanted. The actual job I did I enjoyed. I ended up leaving becoming mentally disabled because of the constant threats, harassment, degrading behaviors by my superiors where I was used as a scapegoat. Pay and security arent worth what you go through there. Not all are this way but my experience there the general consensus hated coming to work everyday. The longer I worked there the more benefits were lost every year after Goodrich sold off.

If you have an employee named Matthew Ellis, he is extremely rude and does not know what he's talking about. Please find another person to represent your company, because if you employee people with an attitude and arrogance like him, I will refer anyone to literally anywhere else.

By far the worst place I've ever worked! The atmosphere and people is fake! Leads and management treat you like you stupid! I wanted to cry every morning when my alarm rang. “ Very Corporate “ ! Thankful I made the decision to pursue my on dreams. So thankful I don't have to go through torture any more!!! Good riddance!!

Excellent place to work!!!... Solid starting pay, outstanding benefits and loads of advancement opportunities... You can't beat UTCAS Foley if you want to create a good life style in this area...

I clean offices after closing so I have hardly any interaction with employees but the few that i have are nice. Place is HUGE, and they pay well
