Excellent museum with dozens of antique fire trucks, fire fighting equipment from all periods, memorabilia, and more. The gentlemen working there were great to talk to and very helpful. A must see if you’re in the area.
This was a lot of fun! They have a wide range of firefighting vehicles on display that you can get very close to. I don't think it will take most more than 30 minutes to explore but you'll be glad you took the time.
My little guy loves, loves everything to do with fire fighters and he loved this museum. The curator was friendly and nice. There were quite a few trucks and you can climb in a few which is awesome! It is in the middle of nowhere and difficult to find. Do follow the directions on the website because Google maps isn't quite on. Once was enough.
I always enjoy coming here. The history in the place is amazing. The room simulator is realistic with a smoke machine and rooms. Sometimes they move the trucks and its just a great place to come and learn.
This is a really cool museum! It's a great place that honors the fireman legacy in Utah. They have uniforms, tools, and vehicles from all over the state. You could spend a couple of hours here learning about the history of firefighting. It can be a little tricky to get especially using Google Maps. But it's there, I promise!
Such a fun museum! The fireman that was working there while we toured gave us so many fun facts and stories. Highly recommend!
They have an impressive collection! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dave, the guide, was extremely kind and patient. My toddler could have spent all day there. Google maps took us the wrong direction. Fortunately, they have signs up around Desert Complex leading to the fire museum.
Fantastic facility that is a little off the beaten path but well worth it. Amazing collection of fire Apparatus going back in the 1920s.
The heart of Grantsville Utah! The Honey Harvest Festival and Barnyard Babies are perfect family events with so many vendor options. Be sure to check out the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers museum while there to learn about the History of J. Reuben C
I went to the Salt Lake Premier Pigeon show that was here. I had tons of fun, everyone I met there was really nice and willing to give advice on pigeons
