Lovely park, quite huge actually! It has expansive soccer/ game fields, 2 playgrounds suitable for elementary ages, including picnic tables in one area. There are many walking areas and benches in nice shaded areas. There is definitely a dog area too!
Personally I would say Bullhead Roosevelt and Montgomery Huge Parks City Staff and APD keep these parks Tops From Cali you Texas #1 By far .
A peaceful place with elbow room. There's a walking trail and grassy areas with ample parking. Near the VA hospital, the back entrance off San Pedro and Gibson...and it's pet friendly (BYO plastic bags...please!
This park is just beautiful! I am from Texas and was visiting the area during a trip with my dog in October. This park had a fenced in area for dogs to interact and play off leash. There were water fountains and some communal toys. The mix of dogs and people was ok. The day we went there was lots of barking and owners who weren’t entirely watching their dogs or prompt with correcting. This caused us to venture away from the crowd toward the end of the fence line where we found another gate. Upon passing through that gate, that’s when the park became so beautiful. We saw others with their dogs off leash and didn’t see signs stating on leash was required. So we went ahead to the sports field area and found peaceful bliss! A local joined us under a tree and mentioned it is technically on leash in that part and there is a local jogger who gets upset and confronts people about this. We didn’t have any issues and the other handful of owners with their dogs off leash were kind and much more aware of their dogs’ behaviors. It reminded me of Zilker Park in Austin but with mountains! Love this place and would still recommend to anyone passing through. 4 stars because of the lack of awareness and control of pet owners in the main fenced in dog park section. 5 stars for the sports field area that may or may not be off leash.
Huge fields great for any activity, they are for the soccer leauges. The playground to the east has a rusted through platform, so it's time for an update.
Love (absolutely)to take the dogs here. Though the fields are NOT really for the pups, mine simply adore to run there. If the sprinklers are on? Oh, boy! Happy dogs!
This park was so lovely when we went today! Softball games were going on so the park just felt alive and fun! There were a couple dogs at the dog park, but not too many! It was nice to sit at the dog park and let the little fur balls run around while we watch the games. Knocking down 1 star because the dog park looks unkept. Lots of exposed tree roots to trip on and be a potential hazard for pets/people. Chairs were turnt over. Goat head bushes are beginning to grow a lot. The dog park can use some love is all. If kept, it’d be such a lovely place!
It's okay. Considering that it's square in the middle of the WARZONE. The scumbag mayor and the other equally useless politicians want you to call it the "International District". Yeah. Sure. Whole area is OVERRUN with dope, homeless hoodrats and crime galore. I lived in that area for 3 1/2 years. There were TWO homicides within feet of my apartment. Well, you asked how it is. Nice i. The day mostly. Don't venture it at night. The homeless dopers live there.

Old town Albuquerque is a great place to shop and find authentic products. Itâs has many shops to explore with very beautiful art, clothing, jewelry, cafe, and ice cream shops. Prices are reasonable. Depending on day and time you go can be crowded.
