A nice experience walking through one of the most decorated US ships left afloat. My only complaint would be the dearth of signage and explanatory panels about what I'm seeing in the ship (for instance some rooms available to view have no signage whatsoever about what they represent).
The small bar in the bow is kind of cool, but I also kind of hate it. It seems out of place on a museum ship, and there are already too many places to find drunk people in key west.
All in all I enjoyed my visit, and if I was ever in town again I'd stop by.
The gentleman who runs is ship is wonderful. He is a veteran with lots of knowledge and wisdom. Definitely one of the more unique museums on the Key.
First the only reason it got 4 stars from me....was because it was closed til Oct 10th, 2023 for maintenance....and didn't post that on their site...but we still went to see this beautiful ship! My son absolutely loved it! Will be checking out the museum inside next year!
More than just old Coast Guard boat! I learned a lot on this tour. This boat saw conflict in WW2 and Vietnam so there was information on American History as well as the workings of the Coast Guard. Highly recommend adding this to your list of Key West museums to visit. We were lucky enough to catch some sort of rescue training while on the deck of the boat. Very cool.
One of the best tours Ive been on since I moved here for the winter and I am trying to see as much as I possibly can while I am here. It was a step back in history and completely different anything on the island. If this is of interest definitely do it.
We enjoyed the 45 minute self guided tour of a well preserved coast guard ship. Be warned that there are a few very strep ladders that must be used to complete the tour.
An amazing piece of history! Current owner needs all the regular help he can get to continue to preserve history! We loved the tour, very informative! Very educational and fun! Veterans receive discount on entry fee.
Really cool surprise ship that I didn't realize I wanted to see the moment I saw it! I had no idea there was one parked there for people to explore. We didn't board the ship, but it looked like you could tour it or at least most of it.

I climbed up the 88 steps to the top of this lighthouse. My quads were very sore at the end of this. But the view is a wonderful reward.

The Key West Shipwreck Museum is Awesome! It was very cool to go there and learn the history, see all the treasures, and it was a very beautiful view of Key West from the top of the tower! Without doubt I recommend going! Have a great day!

The only mosque in Key West. Clean and comfy. Easy to find.
Enter from here. Just push the gate and go upstairs, the mosque is at your left. Thanks a lot for Muslim there. Really help us.
Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic!! We got most of everything including a cookie. Between the 3 of us we demolished almost every single dish. The barbeque ribs ranked the highest among us. Delicate, tender and full of flavor. If you're a lover of curry

I dropped in for a workout. I'd make it my home gym if I lived there. Great cycling class and a great atmosphere. I was lucky enough to meet Maggie, the gym dog!
We just had a 7-night stay at The Grand Guesthouse, and it was such an amazing and wonderful place to stay. The location was fantastic - quiet and comfortable. Enough off the beaten path for privacy and quiet, but close enough that the action was nev
