Unbelievably beautiful views, incredible room, and overall an amazing experience. The restaurant had amazing food, particularly the Jicama as well as the Braised Lamb Pasta. Cocktails were great. What stood out most, perhaps, was the staff and how accommodating they were. Chloe upgraded our room and was helpful with answering all of our questions regarding our stay. Can't wait to come back next year!

Wow!!! Where do I start?? Friendly warm smiles from every staff member, craft cocktails that will make your head spin and taste stellar. The restaurant has a menu nothing short of spectacular food! The challah bread with the special butter, the Caesar salad, like I’ve never tasted, the pork chop that melts in your mouth, and the fresh made pasta- all Divine! What a great surprise in the middle of nowhere 😀 The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The ambiance in the lounge and the fire pit outside was something I wish I could bottle up and take home. Thank you Urban Cowboy Lodge ❤️

I’ve never left a negative review before as I understand these can be detrimental to small businesses, but this experience was easily one of, if not the worst I’ve had at a hotel. It’s unfortunate as the hotel itself was nice and this could have been a great experience, but the total lack of customer service, false advertising, and high price of the hotel is leading me to write this. - For starters, we booked a “Mountain View” room - I’ve posted a photo of what this view actually was (first floor). We were told “technically this is a Mountain View” as our patio had a view of the mountain, however, there were no windows from our room that faced the patio, nor did we want to sit outside in 29 degree weather to enjoy our “view”. Receiving an answer that includes the word “technically” isn’t conducive to finding a solution or making guests feel their purchase is worthwhile. - From there, we requested another room as this was clearly false advertising - we were given a “suite” room which had a slightly upgraded version of the same view (second floor view). Our next problem arose when we came back from dinner to find our room was permeated with pork and chicken scents. We were given no heads up that this room was right above the kitchen and absorbed every iota of food scent from downstairs. - We were then given “linen spray” as a solution (image) and when we asked for assistance, we received the response “what do you want us to do about it?” when we pushed for something else to help us or make this stay even remotely comfortable or worth the value. - Finally as we checked out a full day early and complained that we simply couldn’t stay in the room any longer due to both of us getting nauseous from the breakfast smells that also came into the room in the morning, we were only offered half of our second night back despite us leaving before check out the next day. There was no flexibility or understanding from anyone at the hotel that we were misled and uncomfortable, and the general tone was “welp, deal with it I guess” - If all the above wasn’t enough 1. Expired snacks at the mini bar (image) 2. The hot water from the shower came in and out 3. Three of the four windows in the replacement room were broken, although, the front desk did offer to come up whenever we needed to help us with the window. I don’t particularly love having a stranger in my room to close my windows on a supposedly romantic getaway. 4. Dirty/dusty nightstands I’ll end with saying this - make sure you know the room you’re staying in before you begin your stay. I can absolutely see this hotel being a great time, but unfortunately we were one of the few that got the short end of the stick, and their customer service isn’t geared to assist.

Amazing location gorgeous scenery and an amazing staff. So peaceful with an amazing atmosphere and good food. The staff really impressed me especially Kyle this young man was so helpful. I highly suggest asking staff especially Kyle for whatever you need. If he doesn’t have the answer he will surely get it for you. Had a great stay here will be back!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful rooms and common areas, great amenities and so much to do on the property! We enjoyed going for a dip in the river that runs along the property, walking the trail and seeing horses next door, and the soaking tub on our balcony was amazing after long days of hiking and exploring! The location in the mountains is spectacular, there is so much to do within 30-40 minutes, lots of hikes and tons of fishing spots! Our room as very cozy and comfortable as well. We would love to come back here sometime and stay for longer!

Beautiful place to have a romantic getaway. We stayed five nights and the staff was beyond helpful. We would definitely come back. There is a sauna on site, that was amazing. They have a massage therapist that comes Saturday. The massage was ok but my personal preference is for a deep massage. I exercise a lot and had just hiked giant ledge to Panther mountain park. The massage was more relaxing than working out kinks. Certain days they provide free breakfast and it was PERFECT for starting the day. The location is awesome; 30-40 Minutes to the best of everything. We loved our stay and it was perfect for reconnecting. They provide so much and what I say next doesn’t reflect on them. Just my personal thoughts. Bring a cooler for food or for anything you want refrigerated. (Had I asked, they probably would have helped because they were willing to do ANYTHING for us). There was a wine cooler in our room which did preserve our pastries we purchased. As a female, having a light bright enough to do your face/hair would be helpful. So pack a lighted mirror. I get the dim lighting; super romantic. Overall this is a luxury place and they have it covered. The restaurant was great too! We absolutely loved everyone here and they say it right; come as strangers and leave as friends! What a gem of a place. Cannot wait to go to their other resorts!!! Thanks Chuck, Kyle and all the staff that helped make our getaway amazing ❤️

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at Urban Cowboy Lodge in the Catskill Mountains, and it turned out to be a much-needed and lovely getaway from NYC. The place was smaller than expected but still provided a cozy atmosphere, and we had access to a beautiful expanse of land to explore. The nearby creek and Japanese sauna were delightful additions to our stay. We saw other people bring dogs and we could tell their dog had a blast playing in the giant field. The lodge's breakfast and dinner menus were delicious, although the dinner menu was somewhat limited, prompting us to venture out for drinks and dinner at Peekamoose, which offered fantastic options. We enjoyed a peaceful walk on the small trail behind the Alpine building and while we did not personally participate, we saw others had a blast participating in the extra axe throwing event. The gameroom in the main building was a highlight, offering vintage games and a relaxed ambiance to enjoy them all night long. Our Alpine top-floor room was spacious and luxurious, featuring a California king bed and a delightful copper bathtub. We appreciated the fully stocked fridge and other amenities, although the fact that nearly everything came with an additional cost was a slight disappointment. The welcome drink options were limited (Bourbon or Cava), but the view from the bathtub overlooking the Catskills made up for it. While the cocktails were not outstanding, they were still enjoyable, and the overall atmosphere was delightful. The automatic 20% gratuity charge was noted at checkout, and we found ourselves exploring the Phoenicia Diner afterward, adding to our Catskills experience. The stunning views and the luxury of relaxing in the bathtub overlooking the Catskills were memorable aspects of our stay. We do wish they had included complimentary bath bombs or bath salts, considering the price of the room. Despite the extra costs for many services, we would still recommend Urban Cowboy Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and scenic retreat, as the experience is well worth it. Just be prepared to splurge a bit for a truly memorable stay in this breathtaking location.

Wow is pretty much all I can say. The Lodge is beautiful and everyone supporting it is incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. A special thanks the Kyle Menard and Erica Johnson for helping me pull off an amazing proposal! I couldn’t be more thrilled with how things went. Didn’t hurt that she said yes ;)
