Urban Cookhouse - American restaurant in Tuscaloosa - 1490 Northbank Pkwy #110, USA

I did not want to visit a fast food restaurant, and this restaurant was the perfect place to get good food at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. This was my first time eating here. I ordered the lime steak and rice, with salad, broccoli soup, and sweet tea. And I purchased all of this for $20, which to me was a good deal. The steak was very tender and well seasoned, adorned with caramelized onions. The salad was fresh and the rice was very good. I did not like the broccoli soup as it seemed to be purée broccoli, and it was a little bland. The sweet tea and the orange roll was delicious! Also the customer service was friendly and prompt.

We went inside and had an early lunch... it's my nephew's graduation day 🎓 from The University of Alabama...his sister had dined here before. I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich... delicious!

A fun, casual place offering fresh farm-to-table menu options. Everything I have ever ordered here has been really good. We have also used them for catering and they were easy to work with, professional , and everyone loved the food. One of my favorite menu items is their lime rice and steak with a fresh salad, and their yummy signature orange rolls. Tip- order some orange rolls to take home. You’re welcome! Right now they are offering an Easter lunch. Take it home, warm it, and enjoy.

Really a great place to eat. So far I have tried the Buffalo Chicken Wraps and the Pimento Cheese BLT. On both visits I chose the Hot Cheddar Pasta as my side. Both meals were fresh and tasty. The pimento cheese was perfect and the buffalo chicken was tasty with just enough heat to be delicious. Service is impeccable. The staff is so friendly and efficient. I will be back for sure!

Stopped here for lunch twice while in town. I had the urban cowboy with roasted veggies both times. The only downside I found was trying to find parking at lunch because of how popular this place is. I'd certainly recommend and visit again to try something different.

In from out of town. They had great food! Our crowd has quite the list of food allergies and diet limitations and we had no issues here. Really enjoyed the food and the service was solid. The place could've been a little cleaner, but it was certainly not gross by any means. Really happy with the food!

We’ve had great experiences every time we come to Urban Cookhouse. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and the food is delicious. It is a great place to get a fresh and filling lunch. To top it off, our young children eat their meals better here than just about any other restaurant in town.

Urban Cowboy with a Pepper Patch salad and White BBQ with side salad. Both delicious combinations. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very clean seating areas and friendly wait staff.
