Upper Hillsborough Wildlife Management Area - Wildlife park in Kathleen - 43710 Co Rd 54, USA

Excellent place to enjoy nature riding your bike. Entering from the Chancey rd entrance, go straight till you find the vehicle service road, make a right and keep going south. Take your second or third right off the service road and follow the trail till get to the hills. river. It is a tiny stream ( most of the time) that you can cross ( the left size is not deep) and then just follow the trail. If you can’t cross the River then you will miss the best of the park. Some parts are challenging due to the sandy road but it is all worked it. It’s about 15 miles, bring bug spray, plenty of water and enjoy

It amazes me what our tax dollars get spent on and what they do NOT get spent on... Alas, our state parks seem to be just an afterthought, when they should be a priority. While our children have their noses stuck to their smartphones, they should be out exploring, enjoying what Mother Nature shares with us... But, as a parent would I want my kids to see the disrepair that some of our parks are in... NOT! Maybe the lack of care has to do with this being the off-season, though not a good excuse.... Or, if it's this trashy in the off-season, it's scary to think what it may look like during the season... Chuck Hatcher, you have your work cut out for you...

If you're looking for a walk along easy terrain, this is not the choice to make. It's okay though nothing much to see.

After you pass the two small snake Islands Downstream from The Landing this River is exactly the Enchanted River. One of my most favorite places on Earth!

Not very well maintained. Some weeds on the trail were as tall as me. Could have been marked better.

Biked by a 10 or 12 foot gator laying about 6 feet from the trail. Stopped a jogger from running past it. Jogger went back, I went full tilt past it again. It never moved. Whew!

Great place to hunt with the exception of the crazy people walking the trails they have during hunting season. It's an accidental shooting waiting to happen. At least if there going to slow people to walk the trails during hunting season which they shouldn't they should at least be required to wear hunters orange like the hunters are.

It was a nice surprise to venture through this! I didn't know there would be a pond/lake. Got there for sunset and it didn't disappoint. Camping, hiking, fishing, horse trail and hunting(if that's your thing.) Will be back earlier in the day to explore more.
