I photographed my first wedding at UF this year and fell in love with the space! If you're a couple looking for something rustic simple and beautiful, this is it! I loved that the cocktail hour was right outside of the barn with plenty of space for everyone. There is so much personality and character in every square foot of the property! I cannot wait to be back. Ig @moonhoneyphotography
Updike Farmstead is a magical place! I had my wedding ceremony and reception there in September 2019. Leanne and the folks at the Princeton Historical Society were a pleasure to work with. Leanne was attentive and very helpful through the entire wedding planning process - she was a knowledgeable resource for all minutia I had never thought of. The venue itself is lovely with a recently renovated barn that is rustic and cozy. The property is truly a treasure nestled within Princeton. The museum is also very cool and our guests had fun walking through it!
I had my wedding here - beautiful venue and backdrop. The event coordinator is excellent to work with - friendly, flexible, professional and responsive. Unfortunately, in addition to the rental fee, there are additional fees involved, which can make this a very pricey venue. They also only use one vendor for tent rentals (if you need a tent), which just so happens to be the most expensive tent rental company in NJ. Overall, I would recommend this venue, but it will cost you!
The Updike Farmstead houses a small self-guided museum maintained by the Historical Society of Princeton. It is filled with older b&w photos of Princeton life, some local artwork and, at the time of my visit, an exhibit on Albert Einstein and John van Neumann. It's $4 and worth your time if you're in the area.
I took a hike over to the farmstead from Princeton battlefield and walked around the farm. A docent gave me an enlightening history of the place. Updike is well worth a visit for the history buff.
Attended an awesome party at Updike Farm last Friday. Great catering and dance floor!! What a great venue!!

So actually didn't go into the house or any of the buildings. I was driving along the edge of the property and stopped in the evening to watch fireflies. It was awesome!
If you are a hiker or walker this would be a level 1 to level 2. I personally stepped away from the outside trails due to a delay in the last 2 months. I tried to try an easy trail. With the heat, this hit the spot as the trail is woody and theref
The landscape changes every season, but it's always a nice and friendly trail for walking and jogging. The best scenery is apparently in the fall season.
This is actually just the backside of the Johnson lake park. Great park. Saw beavers and a huge snapping turtle. I didn't even know they had beavers in princeton. Surprising lack of ticks, even in tall grass fields
Unpretentious and delicious! I walked past this place for years and just never had an occasion to stop by and eat. My brother and I made a point of visiting this evening and we are so happy we did. Finally, a restaurant with amazing quality food at
A small gem. The place connects to the DNR Canal hike trail. There was a colonial infantryman show depicting the American Revolutionary War. They had muskets and canon firing. Washington's men marched here, and so it's historical.
One of the best Asian restaurants in Princeton, hands down. After looking on Google for a good place to eat, we stumbled into this place on a whim. Only after 10 minutes, both of our orders came out and looked exceptional! I got spicy crispy chicken
My kids have a blast every time they come and the climbing structure definitely wears them out! We really enjoy the character meet and greets. Itâs wonderful how there is a variety of age appropriate toys and activities geared toward children of a
Presentation and food was a 10 out of 10. Never been here before until today, and it was worth every minute I was here. Adam served, cooked and took my order in the best way possible. Restaurant looks aesthetically pleasing and feels like home, if yo
I walked in initially to get coffee beans as a gift for a friend. I'm a tea enthusiast. I stayed and ordered tea because the baristas were very knowledgeable about their tea selection and methods of preparation. A very pleasant surprise, will have to
