UP FOR BRUNCH CAFE - Restaurant in Shreveport - 1520 Texas Ave, USA

Loved everything about this place. The vibe, the service, the location. Dropped in on a Saturday morning for a quick breakfast with family and they had something for everyone. The mimosas are great and have 3 flavors to choose from. We ordered a selection from avocado toast to the pancake stack; nothing disappointed. I like that they had “health” conscious options as well as southern classic favorites. 10/10 highly recommend

SO GOOD! A tucked away little hole in the wall that’s very cute and has an urban feel. We got seated right away and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely try the butter biscuit waffles. Our little one loved the scrambled eggs and cheesy grits, and we thought the breakfast tacos were delicious and the perfect amount of crispy! The breakfast skillet was great too. The potatoes are perfect! I want to come back 15 more times just to try everything on their menu! We sat outside and while it is a little loud being right next to the interstate, we didn’t think it detracted from our experience. We’ll be back soon!

The service was amazing. The food was horrible! The only edible thing were the grits and French toast. We paid for all of our food but left hungry. It looked pretty but tasted unseasoned, the beignets were hard as a rock, the egg rolls were mushy on the inside, and the catfish had not been cleaned properly. I would love to give it another go but my pockets are not bottomless and spending another $60 to possibly get bad food isn’t in my budget. All of the staff was professional and accommodating.

This was our second time visiting Up for Brunch, and each time we left happy and full. We had the brunch board for 2 on our first visit and the second time we had the chicken and waffles (cornbread waffle) and catfish and grits. The food is delicious, flavorful and fresh; and the service is always very friendly and fast. We enjoyed our brunch out on their decorated pergola and it was a vibe.

This a quaint location to meet up with friends and have brunch! I enjoyed sitting outside with the view of the freeway. The food was delicious! I had the fish with cheesy grits! It came with a mini cornbread waffle that melted in your mouth! On a Saturday it gets packed quick. For this area, I believe this is the place many people have in mind for brunch. It was packed on the particular Saturday we went, but speed of service was on point! I will definitely return.

The cornbread waffle, I didn’t jump for joy about it. I’ll supply before and after pics. The flies were a challenge. However, the food was good. Shrimp and grits were tasty. The French toast melted in our mouths. The potatoes were a good addition to the meal. And the catfish was perfect. Our server was nice and patient. Cute decor with a modern feel. Would I go back? Yes.

Awesome atmosphere! Food was amazing! Service was outstanding with our girl Kim-keep up the good work. Mimosas was evidently worth the wait!! Will be back! Please disregard that bad review, we’re a party of 6 and waited over and hour for a table.
