University Shopping Center - Shopping mall in Coral Gables - 1238 S Dixie Hwy, USA

Visited Friday's at about 9pm. Mostly empty but wait time was about 10 minutes anyway. Service was slow. Did not leave until nearly midnight. Ordered blue raspberry slushie that was more like blue raspberry soda with ice. Ordered Bucket of Bones but ribs were overcooked and almost to crunchy to bite especially on the underside. Ordered two 2 for 14.99 meals, cajun pasta and a kids meal for a total of $89. Dont recommend parmesan crusted chicken at all. Broccoli was tough and barely seasoned. Pasta was also bland. Kid fries and chicken tenders were the best part of the meal. And the background music that played was awesome enough that the baby began singing at the top of his lungs. Service and food could have been much better.

Plaza has gotten better over the years with new additions and improved parking and traffic flow from US1 and surrounding streets. From eateries such as TGI Friday's to goods stores like Pier 21, the plaza is medium sized but great for workers nearby for lunch and it's proximity to the Metro Rail station is perfect and easy to get to via the bridge overpass.

Decent enough. The shopping center looks pretty rough. Not their fault. A pedestrian overpass is being constructed by the university. They messed it up. They had to level it and start over. I would not drive your car in the parking lot. There are a lot of nails. Construction starts every morning it's loud and annoying. If you are going to this center imagine the noise inside one of the shops during the daytime! Good luck.

Easy parking. Nice super clean shopping place. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because they need to fill the empty stores and it would be nice to have all different types to shop in.

I was there for the Bagel Emporium and grill. I ve been going there since the 80's and it's always wonderful and warm people. Miami's Jewish restaurants have mostly disappear. But this one has stand it's ground and always busy. 👍👍

I just wanted to let everyone know that at tgi Friday the service is ok and the food there ok but everytime I dining there I had cold food and I would get sick there not a allergic reaction but Food Poisoning one time the manager threw me out and would never let me back after a comment on how the waitress would walk but me and ignored me after sitting there waiting for service

I did feel ok visiting it

Located on US1across from UofM metro rail station, free parking, has both Fridays. And Bagel Emporium (best Ruben Sandwich, bagels & chopliver)with Pier One (early holiday decorations & gifts) and urgent care clinics it's even got an upstairs gym location and beauty salon.
