We booked a last minute room for our family trip the room was big and clean. The staff was very friendly and although I was looking forward to the pool it was not finished yet but it was disclosed on their web page I just didn't see it in my excitement. My kids enjoyed the stay and the complimentary breakfast they received. This will definitely be our go to from now on! Close to restaurants shopping and a short drive from the beach. Looking forward to booking our next trip.
The rooms were big and clean, but the property is dated and has limited outlets to plug things in. The beds were also very hard and the pillows very cheap. The continental breakfast was very simple consisting of one breakfast sandwich, bananas, water, coffee, and juice. The pool was also under construction, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. Not worth the 250 a night we paid to stay there. Overall the property is under construction and the updated rooms have very inexpensive decor and miss attention to detail. Probably wont be back
We booked one room for four adults for two nights. First, we missed the description that the beds were all full/double-size. Not having queen-sized beds was a significant inconvenience for us. Second, we were only allowed one set of towels per person. Two out of four of us shower twice daily, but we were denied clean towels for morning showers. Also, we traveled to SLO from Texas. The temperature was cooler than expected. We asked for extra blankets, but the front desk denied those. The second day of our stay we should have changed our sign requesting room service on our way out, but we forgot. When we returned to our room at the end of the day, we asked for clean towels and were denied. We were unable to shower on the second night of our stay. Lastly, we checked out at 6:19 in the morning. We asked for access to the continental breakfast but were told we had to wait eleven more minutes. I would only stay here again if I reserved one two-bed room for myself. That way, I would have all the bedding and towels I needed.
I booked through Expedia. They have it listed that they have a pool and spa. But failed to mention that is under construction and won’t be functional until next year! When told that they basically false advertised themselves. The southern Indian woman stated that “it’s in the policy before booking”. Went back into my booking, Yup no mention of a pool under construction. Bathroom was clean, room seemed somewhat updated, and linens were clean. The room floors need better attention and not all outlet plugs were functional. Continental breakfast was better than expected after my check -in interaction. Not worth the price paid for sure.
Haunted. We stayed in room 209 on the 2nd floor. It's completely remodeled very nice. However, in the middle of the night we were visited by a couple of female apparitions from the other side, they were chatting about their long luscious hair. It lasted about a minute only. Otherwise the stays were uneventful.
I booked this since I had to get a last minute room for the Cal Poly open house and it was the only place with a two bed room available that was under $500 a night. I knew it was a motel and a two star amenity place so set expectations accordingly. We got there in the morning and left car there to walk to event. I talked to the gentleman at reception and he told me that he would call when our room was ready since my daughter wanted to take a shower there ASAP. He was very pleasant, full props for that, but never actually called :(. The room itself was very basic, it had been cleaned but there were a few places that were obviously missed. The hairdryer in the bathroom (attached to wall) was broken. On the third day I asked for new towels since the room hadn't been service and the again very pleasant gentleman assured me it would be serviced while we were gone for the day. We came back and it had not. 5 stars for his attitude and interactions but unfortunately no stars for follow through. It is typical motel style with rooms that open directly into parking, it can get noisy with people and cars coming and going. There was one window in front but we kept it closed for privacy since it looked directly into lot with people walking by. That made the room very dark since it was blackout curtain. I would have greatly appreciated a second privacy curtain which would block direct viewing but still let light in. The location is fantastic for visiting Cal Poly - less than 20 minute walk to campus, can't get closer. Nothing interesting to walk to in area, if you want that, pick a place near the downtown core, very cute area. I paid about $250 for the Friday night during open house, the rate was $76 on Sunday night which should give an idea of what it is actually worth. If you are looking for rock bottom price in a convenient location to CP and basic but serviceable amenities, this is a decent option. But I will be staying in a slightly nicer place next time.
Positive: Location Negative: Under construction.?could not pull into hotel parking upon check-in (and there were guests who could not get their cars out to leave). The construction noise (banging, sawing & hammering) began well before 7:00am and was located right next to our room
We reserved 2 rooms through Expedia. We've put hotel with a pool in our research tool. W e arrived there, the pool was under construction, the all outside was under construction, we ask the manager to get a refund so we could stay to another hotel and she refused, stating that it was written the pool was being done. I went to the add, and after the presentation, after seeing Highlights: this hotel has a pool, after all the rooms choice, after amenities, you have policies. you have to extend policies, and there you see that there's construction. Note that construction started a 5:30 in the morning!!!! The room was not clean, very used , the manager not nice. Avoid this place!!!

I first came across Peach Tree Inn about 3 yrs ago. I originally made a reservation off Hotels .com for a hotel near by. After seeing the room, there was no way we could stay there. It was horrible. It was getting late and we drove by the Peach Tree
