University Inn - Inn in Tempe - 902 S Mill Ave, USA

We enjoyed staying at the University Inn. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. It was immaculately clean, and there were plenty of toiletries. Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet at night. There is an in-room mini-fridge and coffee maker, but no microwave. Also, our room had two twin sofa-beds...they looked fine for a child, but did not look very comfortable for an adult. Fortunately, the 2 queen beds met our needs for sleep accommodations. The sofas were great for lounging...the three of us sat on one together to watch a move on our tablet. I would stay there again the next time I visit Tempe.

Don't be put off by the run-down looking exterior...Clean mattress, clean room, modern interior design, but a bit noisy if you're a light sleeper due to the adjacent main road. Shower was really nice, I love the tiling. No counter space at the vanity. Great restaurants nearby. Beware the $45 rideshare back to the airport if here on long layover like I was. I snagged an excellent rate and hopefully you can too!

You just can’t beat this place. We stayed in the double queen room while were in town for our daughters graduation at ASU. The location is perfect where we were able to walk to Gammage where the convocation was held. Michelle was not only welcoming but just a wonderful human. We enjoyed our conversations with her and decided to extend our stay because of her. We will certainly be back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The check-in and out process was simple and quick with the sweet young lady behind the counter. We were located on the second floor and the room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and well presented. Walk-in closet and large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head. The bed was soft but comfortable, we slept well. The room is also furnished with AC, mini fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket, iron board, iron, luggage rack and cable TV but not many places to charge devices. Overall our stay was nice, enjoyable and comfortable. But, bring earplugs for the cars that race by sometimes, unless you’re not a light sleeper.

We were passing through and needed a place to crash before a long drive the next day. We loved the style, cleanliness, friendliness, and quality. The shower was 4- star for a budget price. We would have been comfortable here for a longer stay. A big thumbs up.

Use caution booking at this location. I could only use a third party to book and now they keep giving me the run around. I paid the travel insurance, flights were late and I didn't even make it to AZ. Only book once you land in town and skip the travel insurance, it's a scam. They sent me an email about how my check in was and how my stay was...... I never stayed here but I tried to.

Darling place! Rooms have been update and they are clean! The owner and staff are amazing. Very friendly and accommodating!

Don’t judge this book by its cover. This place is super cute on the inside, and the staff is so helpful. Very spacious and modern. There is AC, fridge, wifi and food service. Its a very quick walk to the restaurant and bar areas. Was never stopped by any strangers and you can see people walking the same routes.
