Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Orlando - 6550 Adventure Wy, USA

This resort was amazing for the price point! I've stayed at many Disney resorts in all ranges of price (Value, Moderate and Deluxe) and this was honestly one of the best for SO much cheaper! We had a family exterior suite. Room was huge for 4 of us, we were ground level so we walked right out to the waterslide pool. Kitchen was super handy and we were right near the lobby which was great for mug refills. Rooms were clean and well kept. Front desk check in staff were super friendly and helpful. Busses to the parks were consistent and so fast. We tried the boat from Sapphire once on the way back and didn't find it any faster or easier than the bus. We preferred the busses. The ability to walk over to Volcano Bay was SO handy! Lazy river pool was our favourite...we spent a lot of time over there. It's definitely a big resort so be prepared to walk. Our friends were over on the other side of the resort which wasn't ideal but we made it work. We didn't bother with food at the resort as we stopped at Walmart for groceries but the food we saw people with looked great. This is definitely our go to resort from now on when going to Universal!

Hotel was amazing. Rooms were very clean. The pool and lazy river were great. Restaurants on property were of different varieties so there really was no need to leave the hotel to find food offerings elsewhere. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The proximity to Volcano Bay was incredible. It was a 3 MINUTE WALK from the hotel and we had early access also as guests of the hotel. Very affordable. I would recommend highly that the Cabana bay beach resort is at the top of your list when traveling to Orlando.

We just took a family vacation and stayed here at Cabana bay and it was the best experience! The rooms were amazingly big and clean! The employees were very polite and so helpful. The grounds of the resort we so beautiful. The pool areas were amazing. The whole resort was so well taken care of. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we enjoyed every moment. Definitely would recommend this place.

Loved so much about the hotel. The location and convenience of using the shuttles to Universal Studios parks ,& city walk was amazing. The hotel was very clean. The staff were all friendly and hard working. The retro vibe was so sweet and nostalgic. They also had surprise characters that visited the hotel so that was also so sweet. Lots to do and comfortable beds for that needed rest time. Highly recommend this hotel.

First time staying here, and I absolutely loved it! The retro vibes ✨️ are SO FUN👌 and this resort has SO many amenities. The 😋 food court offers a variety of food, they have a Starbucks ☕️ on-site, a good-sized arcade, a bowling alley 🎳, 2 huge pools, a water slide, and a lazy river water🌊 The shuttle to universal city walk literally took less than 10 minutes. This place offers great value for the price! The Volcano Bay 🌋 view rooms are INCREDIBLE!!

I recently spent 10 incredible days at this hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! The room was not only immaculately clean but also looked even better than the pictures. The real standout, however, was the exceptional service - just a text message away and always highly responsive. During my stay, I had the pleasure of enjoying the hotel's fantastic amenities, including bowling, a fully-equipped gym, and a delicious restaurant on site. Overall, I loved my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. Five stars and can't wait to return!

This place is great but needs an upgrade. The staff are very polite and helpful. Our family suite needed a little TLC. The carpets could use a steam clean and the sidewalks could use a pressure wash. The pool areas were clean. The food was pretty good. Check-in/out was very convenient. Parking isn't included which is an awful policy. Universal should offer free parking. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return to Universal. We'll probably choose a different Universal hotel next time that is a little closer to City Walk and the parks.

We loved this hotel. It was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful! The lazy river was fantastic! In it every night! Bowling was super fun! The only draw back is it needs a referb! Some damage in the room and carpets. Definitely keep the retro vibe just refresh it!
