Unity Hotel and Conference Ctr, Ascend Hotel Collection - Hotel in Lee's Summit - 1901 NW Blue Pkwy, USA

This is not a “normal” hotel, and I’m very okay with that. The village has a rose garden, chapel, golf course, wedding area, meditation/prayer gardens, cafe, hotel, and a wonderful trail with natural bridges to explore. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was great. The breakfast was good. I loved their daily fruit water. Again, I have to emphasize how quiet it was. There was a conference at the same time I stayed and I didn’t hear a thing. It definitely beat staying in the city for the same price or more. Plus, deer and rabbits were daily sightings!

Positive: The room was spacious. Beds were very comfortable. It sounded like the grounds were beautiful and spacious, but we arrived at 8:30 pm and needed to be on road at 9 am. Negative: The location was a challenging to find. The hotel was even more difficult to find. We arrived at 8:20. Thankfully there was a cafe on the property that was open until 9. Breakfast was a challenge due to groups of students.

We stayed in unity hotel for our recent conference. The hotel completely suited our needs. The breakfast was excellent. I'm grateful for the high quality chamomile tea that was available at all times. My wife enjoyed the coffee. The staff was cheerful and dedicated. The hunting space with the unity chapel is our main auditorium was just a dream come true. What a beautiful place to have our conference and we felt welcomed and we also felt that our group had enough privacy and wasn't intermingled with other big groups at the time. Like large conference centers have tended to do. The man who helped get the audio to run well was very helpful. We were also able to use their camera and light setup to make some great recordings of our event. Unfortunately, they do not have their own catering program so we had to rely on outside catering. I believe that was the main weak link of our event. Overall, I would recommend this place and I'm looking forward to returning in the future for another conference for our organization. Special thanks to Connie as our unity liaison. She was very helpful and just helped us with the subtle fine-tuning that our event needed. Like just minor stuff. There were no major complications. Unity is just a beautiful venue for the conference that we needed to have.

Positive: The most peaceful hotel say I've had in years was that Unity. Nature trail nearby, beautiful grounds with fountains in a rose garden what's not to like? There is also a gym off-site that is available that is four star. Breakfast was outstanding as well. Negative: ""

I attended a work conference here in the conference center. They provided lunch and snacks. There was plenty of room for a large number of people. Restrooms were right outside the conference room. I did some exploring of the grounds and found a lovely place where they have wedding ceremonies. I did not go onto the rooms, so I can not comment on those. The staff was friendly and helped with whatever we needed. Lovely place.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel and our stay here!!!! The two front desk ladies one working the night of 12/9 and the one working morning of 12/10 (I didn’t get the names I’m sorry) were both so gracious and kind. I was pregnant and traveling thru with my toddler who ended up getting sick that evening. the front desk lady in the evening had NO concern of the mess when i told her i needed cleaning supplies and wanted only to make sure my little one was okay. She came down and cleaned Everything up herself telling me to stop apologizing. My husband ordered me door dash since we wanted to remain in the room and she called down to inform me they just passed the front desk and were coming to the room as to give me a heads up and not wake the little one. The morning lady was so kind in giving us a late check out so my little one who was up all night could sleep longer. They were all so kind with my stressed pregnant emotions and my sick baby. The hotel room was clean and the hotel was so welcoming and the environment was peaceful. If we are ever in the area in the future and needing a place to stay we will be here again and i will be recommended them! Thank you all for your kindness and care. what should have been a very stressful trip was made a lot more easy and and i am very grateful!!

Absolutely worth every penny or point!!! They even have a golf course on property. It's so pretty. Look past the construction to get there.

This hotel was amazing. We got in late as we're traveling from Arizona. It was so quiet when we pulled up we didn't even think it was an actual hotel. The girl at the front desk was super sweet. Check-in process was easy. The hotel was so clean and the beds were comfy. Everyone we encountered was wonderful. On our way out one of the workers offered to help us load our vehicle since he saw us with a cooler. It was such a nice gesture. The property is very beautiful. Unfortunately we were only there one night and didn't get a chance to walk around. Everything about this hotel was great. Definitely recommend and we'll definitely stop again when we're passing through.
