Union Street Public House - New American restaurant in Alexandria - 121 S Union St, USA

Had a work event in the bar here recently. Bar staff are outstanding! Atmosphere is great in this vintage building. The alcohol selection is very impressive as well! This place is very much worth trying out is you’re in old town Alexandria! Love it!

This is our neighborhood bar/restaurant. I love it, its a nice place to sit at. This time, my husband and I took our friends there, three of us ordered fish and chips it was super delicious, and the Po-boy shrimp sandwich, i tried it. It was also great. Its close to our home so we go a lot and we enjoy our time there. And i dont want to forget, the chips was sooooo crunchy and good, really good 10/10. The bar tender man (dont remember his name, is really nice he always remembers our faces). Even the price of their food and drink are acceptable.

Went for happy hour. Mediocre bar food. Bartender was good, made a nice drink. Quiet vibe.

Very good food and service; must grab the clamb chowder. Excellent choice of whiskey and flight selection. Was a great experience and would absolutely go back for more! Too bad the rain was bad but also a great area to experience! The waiter was absolutely considerate and helpful in making choices in what was the best at their restaurant, everything he suggested turned out very good, even the whisky.

Came here for the first time for Saturday lunch & everything was delicious. The breakfast burger on the pretzel roll was amazing!! They gave us a free chocolate mouse desert (for no reason, how sweet :)) Service was top notch! We’ll be back for sure.

It's one of my favorite pubs in the area. I absolutely love it here. I think it’s a great spot for weekend brunch and a happy hour with a friend or a date when strolling Old Town. Lots of tables. Street parking is available with a maximum of 2 hours and no extension if you are lucky to find a spot. Otherwise, I highly encourage you to use a parking garage for some kind of mind. You can easily spend a few hours in Old Town, so plan ahead.

This is my first time at this restaurant. I got the Honey Garlic Salmon and it was to die for! Best salmon I've had in a very very long time. My cousin had this restaurant as a bucket list for awhile and everyone in the party loved what they got. Everything was cooked perfectly and the way each meal should be cooked. Professionally. The three of us got a table pretty quickly but didn't order til 10 minutes later. The wait time for the food wasn't too bad either. Maybe a good 15 minutes at best. It was loud but we all could hear each other well enough. The atmosphere was warm and inviting for sure. A reason to come and eat here. I would definitely come back here to eat.

It was a nice casual place to have brunch. There a a lot of stairs, so it was a little difficult for one of our family members who uses a walker to get in, go to the restroom, and leave. The food and service were good. No real complaints, but not blown away either, but the quality was nice and fresh
