I absolutely loved the feel of this place. It was cozy and Victorian old style which I loved. AC worked great. Linens were nice and clean. We didn't like that we had to wait on someone to check us in. We stayed in room 12. Bed was hard and I tossed and turned the majority of the night. Still enjoyed our stay though.

Jake was the best ever at answering all my questions about the hotel. Cutest little place to stay in El Dorado.

Located in and throughout ElDorado, Arkansas this is one of the coolest places we stay. The Captain Ledge Band is a regional touring act so we stay in a lot of different places. Union Square Guest Quarters is among our favorite places to stay. The ambiance of the area is outstanding. The rooms are clean and at the same time historical and ALL the people are simply amazing. This is a well kept secret and an amazing place to spend a few days.

The staff are very kind and helpful and the location is amazing. It’s an old, historical building and that definitely has its charm. The room was huge and comfortable. We had an issue when we first arrived with a gas smell in one of the rooms and an employee was here within minutes getting it all fixed up. He was extremely personable and took my concern very seriously which meant a lot. The bed was comfortable and the linens smelled clean and fresh. The real star of the show are the amazing balconies. Both rooms we reserved had spectacular views and really cool outdoor seating. I really think the hotel is missing a golden opportunity to service breakfast on the balconies… I’d pay extra for that!! Lara was so nice and helpful when I made my reservations.. I think we talked for like 1/2 and hour 🤣. I only had two issues…1. the smell is not great. I know the building is old, but I live in an old farmhouse too and we had to clean out our ducting and update the heat/air to get rid of the musty smell. It’s pretty bad here. 2. The noise. I could hear loud music and banging around all night. It was after 2AM before I got any sleep. These were minor compared to the positives though, so I’d def come back… I’d just bring some ear plugs next time! ETA: the info in the room says the restaurant opens at 7:00 on Sat and Sun but this is NOT accurate. It doesn’t open until 8:00. Apparently it has been that way for a long time and the hotel hasn’t updated any of their literature or emails. This is very disappointing bc I could have had an extra hour of sleep and when you are here to work that extra hour is gold. Not to mention I dropped my keys off in the box when I left my room and now I dont have anywhere to go for an hour. There really is no reason the hotel shouldn’t have updated this by now. Fair warning… there is NO WHERE to get coffee or food until 8:00 in the whole area. Come prepared if you have an early morning.

While taking a short trip to south Arkansas to visit family, my wife and I decided to stay in El Dorado. Feeling nostalgic, we decided to stay on the square that is home to many memories from growing up in this area. I am so glad we did! Union Square Guest Quarters made our visit one to remember! From booking the room to room accommodations to the breakfast experience, our stay was fun and refreshing! Two of my main critiques in staying at a new place is cleanliness and a comfortable bed…both of these were exceptional! In addition, we were able to walk around the square, view the scenery, reminisce and see all the new businesses that have come to El Dorado. Great shopping, great coffee houses, great environment!

Nice small town feel. Excellent service. Nice family that runs it. Clean. Easily the best place to stay within a 90 mile radius of El Dorado. This is the only lodging I've given 5/5 stars in 7 years.

I stayed a couple of nights here when visited my daughters. Rooms were clean, so peaceful, excepted for this dude blarring his music on a 3-wheeler. Which the hotel had no control over. This was a wonderful experience to stay at something so nice and to visit downtown El Dorado. I will stay here again. Oh almost forgot they gave me a complimentary breakfast of up to 10 dollars each which was more than enough for a good homemade breakfast. Excellent!

ooked a cute suite from pics on website most reviews I saw were good but they fail to mention it’s above a night club where people are hanging out in front of the entrance, blocking the road in front of it and the parking designated for USGQ is on a back street I have a 1 year old and a 5 year old, we came in late in the evening and did not feel very safe as when we pulled up and parked to get the key (super easy check in!) and find the correct place on the map when out of no where a lady comes running and screaming profanity at the top of her lungs as a man is chasing her, had I not just spent a lot of money & wasn’t completely exhausted I would have left. Once I finally found a park on a side street and gathered my kids and bags we fight through the crowd, open the door to find the literally the longest staircase I’ve ever encountered in my life. This all took place around 1045-11pm it is now after 1 am and the party is still going on below us (literally right below the bedroom)… I have a angry tired 5 year old and an angry tired screaming 1 year old…and I am an Exhausted angry Mom that just needs some sleep. Also the “breakfast included “I just read is actually up to $10 each for 2 people. So now IF we do get sleep and wake up for breakfast we still have to drive over to the train car area and it’s going to cost anyway, (we had it, no discount no one even asked if we were||Guests and when mentioned jo discount still cost around $50 for two adults and a kid). I don’t believe calling anyone is really going to do anything this late/early(but I did call on the 2nd night of no sleep and they told me they have no influence over what happens below, I get that but there’s no mention to move us to another room away from the party or anything) I do feel like I got false advertising (being above a night club, no elevator and the stairs equivalent to Mt. Everest when toting two kids and luggage) This may be a great place for a party crowd but not for the family or anyone expecting to get rest on a weekend. Other than that super cute a tad bit dated but spacious & historic vibes for sure! Wonder what this place used to be used for?! I’d stay again if I wasn’t a Mom with kiddos and was here to party! However this trip has me just wasting $450, two nights of sleep, a box fax I bought to maybe help combat the party sounds (ear plugs didn’t help either). Also when we left the room in the morning there’s throw up all over the side walk and trash. It’s like a mini New Orleans experience without good food :( ps. I tried to upload video of the music at night but I wouldn’t save (was full of profanity)

Just stopped by to ask some questions while I was at the gym. They said they have some good meal replacement smoothies and serve lunch too. I don't know how anything tastes and I forgot to ask the prices. Maybe I should have taken a to go menu....
