Our serve Ivy was very pleasant and tentative. The small plates all sounds so good, so I ordered a few. They were all very delicious. Especially the dumplings that I almost didn’t get because I mean every where does dumplings! But these… literally chefs kiss with the berry and cream sauce. What an amazing idea! The ramen was good, and I’m sad that they didn’t have the lamb this time. However it is refreshing to see new items every so often. So exciting to try new things, so hopefully in the future they’ll bring on udon noodles.
Got takeout so can’t really comment on service or atmosphere, which both seemed nice. Main comment is on ramen. It was $20, which is already steep, and very average. Broth nothing special and they use the cheapo noodles you find in ramen packs that come clumped together. Not sure why it’s so hard for American ramen restaurants to do decent noodles. Pork belly was alright. For 20 bucks was expecting something better than a 99 cent ramen pack, but hey, maybe you pay for service and atmosphere these days
Best ramen I've had so far!! Don't forget to try the beggars dumplings they are amazing!!! Queen of hearts drink is my favorite! It's made with a hibiscus infused vodka!!
Great lunch at Union Ramen! The space is clean and modern. We sat at a window table across from the bar which was comfortable for two. The service was attentive and friendly. We started with the crawfish + shrimp lumpia. Served as 4 pieces with sweet chili sauce. Crispy and delicious! Main course we ordered the Original Tori ramen with additional protein of blackened chicken. The favor of the broth was rich but very satisfying. The other ramen was the Moshi Moshio. A lighter broth as compared to the Original Tori. I opted for more pork for $3 (I was hungry). It was so good! Would order either ramen again. I was told that the menu changes four times each year with the seasons. This visit was the summer menu. Looking forward to sampling something different on the next visit. If you are in the mood for ramen visit Union Ramen.
Cute place. The food was mid and my husband and I had horrible upset stomach the following day (it was the only thing we ate alike that day). The stool I had was rocking as well.
Everything ordered was 10/10. Could not recommend this place enough. The food: ✔️delicious ✔️well worth the price. We were dining in towards closing. The service was speedy. Ordered: ✨️Bruleed Brisket ✨️Dirty Mazemen ✨️Matcha Creme Brulee
As vegetarians, we have had some delicious ramen throughout the country on several occasions and had high hopes for this place given some great reviews, but it was disappointing. The miso ramen was extremely unbalanced. The dish looked appetizing, but the below average poached egg and entire of a half tomato in the ramen made it impractical and less enjoyable to eat. Not to mention, the price per bowl was $18, which is steep but could be worth it if the taste justified the price, which it did not.
Delicious authentic ramen in a beautiful space with great service. Left here full and happy and will have to try the other broths on the menu. Started off with the wings and lumpia then went with the tonkotsu. If you have space, spend some time on their small plates. They have some great options and I’m going to try them all. As for the ramen, great flavors and they really come close to the tastes of Japan. Wanted a bit more spice but will definitely come back for the experience.
