Under Canvas Zion - Resort hotel in Virgin - 3955 Kolob Terrace Rd, USA

My husband and I were happy we chose to stay at Under Canvas for our two nights in Zion. We weren't sure initially about having to drive 20-30 minutes to the park entrance, but it wasn't bad at all. We loved being away from everything and were able to truly soak in the beauty around us (the stars at night were amazing)! All of the staff were extremely friendly and we enjoyed meeting people by the firepit in the evening. Highly Recommend!

We stayed 2 nights at Under Canvas, Zion. Really nice tents, spacious and including bathroom. Luxurious and yet basic. Beautiful view to the mountains Friendly and polite staff. Our teenage son had his own tipi, which he enjoyed a lot 😄 Only comment is that it was very, very hot everywhere (110F during the day) but that we cannot blame Under Canvas. Location is 30 min from the national park. We had expected it to be closer. However our stay was a welcoming experience from The standard hotels.

Under Canvas was a perfect place to land while exploring Zion National Park. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made our stay even more enjoyable. No detail is missed in the welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces. Our tent was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend for a unique experience.

My son and I are visiting several National Parks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The vibe we felt eating dinner with soft live music playing followed by making s'mores with other guests was amazing. And the lodgings were super clean and cozy!

This was way over priced for what you get. There's a skylight over the bed that's really cool at night but then by morning it's SUPER BRIGHT. I expected more for the price I paid. This was glamping, this was actual camping and they shouldn't be charging $472 plus tax per night for this. The cafe food was really bad and also over priced. Cold tomato soup, frozen chicken strips and street tacos for $45. I think maybe this property would be better in the winter than in the summer. The tent is way too hot. They give you small battery fans to put by your bed that rattle and don't even last more than an hour or you have to wake up and shake the power chord for it to work. Expect no sleep for $500.

A truly luxurious camping experience! Just as beautiful and clean as the pictures on their site. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and fun to talk with. We loved all the games available in the lobby. The stargazing from our tent was incredible, and the resort activities were fun! Only issue we had was the gnats were really bad most of our stay. It was hard to sit outside where it was coolest (tents get hot inside during the day).

We felt like we were off the grid without sacrificing all the comforts of home. The staff is especially good at being attentive without getting in the way of one's connecting with nature and the spirituality of the stars. We stayed in a star gazing tent which we skeptically thought might be a bit gimmicky when booking. It wasn't. It is definitely worth the extra money. The only problem is you close your eyes to go to sleep and then just have to open them one more time to take in the stars. I can't tell you how many "one more peeks" I had to take before I actually fell asleep.

This place is a perfect break away from almost everything. The tents are amazing, with great facilities. The only problem for us was, that we lived in tent 8, close to the dirt road. The cars kept driving through the night, ligthing our tent up. Try not to stay in that tent. I will come back some day, but i will ask for another tent.
